    Exclamation If you take naps, do you need to eat less calories?

    Ive been wondering if taking naps lowers your TDEE even more than just being sedentary and awake. I need to do some serious catching up on sleep, and don't know if I should just wait until I go to bed at night or take a small nap now and sleep well later.

    my BMF has me at 1.4-1.6cals/min when napping which is same burn i have doing nothing sitting in a computer chair

    I noticed this too. Surfing the net: about 1.8, sleeping: about 1.7 (sometimes dips down to 1.5 for half hour periods). i take more naps now.
