I'm on Clomid

Just got it today, so I don't much yet.
More info:
Name brand Clomid. It's less than $100 with no prescription for 30x50mg pills.
Prescribed from my doctor to take half a 50mg pill every day. Will actually just take 25mg M/W/F for the first month and see how that works at first. I am gauging my dosage off a recent New York study that showed 25mg every other day to be adequate to increase test by about 250% on average. If not, I'll dose up to the 25mg per day ordered. I am adverse to taking Test cream simply because the cost is $300 a month and it makes you go sterile.
Have low T, very low considering I'm in my early 30's and work out. In the low 200's (mg/dl). Measured blood levels twice. Never taken any anabolic steroids whatsoever. Have taken prednisone 2 times, but only for a couple weeks for unrelated issues.

If it's about the effects, I just don't know yet.

It's much more commonly used for female fertility.
Very rarely for men to increase their own fertility and/or boost testosterone levels.
Bodybuilders have been using it for years for PCT, but just recently has it become acceptable for mainstream use.

He said come back in 2 months, get tested.
Then try to go off of them for a while, get tested again.
His theory is that it's possible my testosterone levels will normalize after a short duration.

I can tell you anything you'd like to know about my results, but would not like to post the actual document.
My free test was actually within range, it was the total test that was so low. My cholesterol was also high, but instead of taking statins, the TRT may help solve that problem.

Sorry if you misunderstood. It's not 25mg a day, it's 75mg per week, making it just under 11mg per day.

This is correct.
Testosterone cream, patches or injections has been shown to significantly harm young men in long term usage.

Clomid on the other hand is much more powerful in younger men tested (specifically up to 35), but with those over 65 has very little affect.

It's very similar to Nolvadex, which is used as a breast cancer drug, primarily in women.

Hrm. Clomid is ONLY indicated on the label for use as an ovulation stimulator. But for off-label use it is common to see in hypogonadal men and breast cancer patients.

i also started with that stuff but i dose it 25mg every third day. i even heard of doctors who advised to take only 12.5mg every second or third day and it raised test levels up to the 800's for several months.

I actually think this thread is interesting. Doctors who I spoke to regarding low test gave me the yaoming face when I asked them about clomid but it shows real promise, especially when comparing it to being on injections for life
