I started working out when I was a teenager because I was insecure.

I was using too much mind to think about what I wanted to accomplish and why I was even at the gym. Whenever I lift, I would be thinking about the girls that would be checking me out, the jocks I would impress when I get bigger, and etc.

Basically I couldn't function because I had a brain in my skull holding back my body.

And then I went on and achieved a ****load of milestone in the weight room and then I quit lifting because I didn't want to be categorized as a meat head who only lifts weights so I decided to get as small as I can to "Look like Bruce Lee" (troll).

Basically I couldn't function because I had a body, holding back by a brain that couldn't function alone- a brain like a parasite. I needed to get rid of it.

One day, I got so tired of people asking me if I still wanted to look like Bruce Lee that I decided to look like Tyler Durden!~~<3

I remember how when Fight Club became popular, EVERYONE, all beta and alpha males included, wanted to look like "Brad Pitt in Fight Club...not big, just ripped".

And I was like - hey, that's a good physique to achieve. Let's see if I can look like him and maybe even live his philosophy as the embodiment of the subconscious mind.

And then when I finally looked like him, I realized that DAMN i can get away with ****, even without a mind, just by riding in this body. THe aesthetic finally terminated and exorcised my brain out of my body.

So that's when I realized that this Tyler Durden character, the Übermensch. The being-for-itself. The Artist. The anti-conformist is full of contradictions:

He was telling people to not look like underwear models, while being ripped as ****. He was always wearing expensive brands himself while he preaches against consumerism and mainstream culture.

And then I was like ****, I don't even need THIS.

I realized that my goal wasn't a 40 inch vertical. It wasn't a 400 pound squat. It wasn't to be a well known artist. It wasn't to get a PHD in philosophy. It wasn't to unlock your subconscious power to access infinite potentiality. My goal is function... to do things that PEOPLE with minds do - have sex, eat, lift, watch movies, take pictures, talk, party, shopping, reading (yes even that) WITHOUT having a mind (not even the subconscious one).

The only way to carry this out is to have an aesthetic body - one that is more aesthetic than your favorite celebrity. If you can "surpass Tyler Durden"....then you can get away pretty much anything, even without a single ounce of brain tissue inside your skull to hold you back.

I want to be able to LIVE as a total blank - a nothingness - as pure consciousness...all I want is a shell. One that is so aesthetic that it will allow me to function as a blank. To ride on it, so I can troll and get away through its beauty. It's the only way to be totally free. To be free to re-create yourself on a moment to moment basis.

how did getting the brad pitt body make you realize your ultimate goal? also, I always thought of subconsciousness as something that you cant remove, cant ever fully control it, but you can kind of work with it as you become more aware of it. do you really think that you can be totally nonthing. how didu do this
