How to obtain the SMALLEST mid-section...NOT the best abs...

There are 2 very different things that people definitely get confused about. Abs and a small midsection. I have seen guys with 4% body fat and huge blocky abs, a bloated stomach and a 36-38 inch waist.(The steroid/GH look). This is not at all appealing to me. I personally have VERY small hips and when in single digit body fat I have a 28-29 inch waist. I have not seen it that small in over 10 years, but i know it has that potential. Obviously diet and cardio are the 2 main factors to achieve that goal, which i am doing. I am very successfully losing 2 lbs of fat per week with my routing while maintaing good energy and the majority of my muscle mass.....I KNOW there are ways to target, speed up fat loss in the mid section. I don't desire big cut abs, i desire the smallest waist humanly possible which means NOT building too much muscle around the mid section.....Help with losing the fat and keepign the muscle at a minimum please. The look of the past heros is what i am going for, Steve Reeves, Frank Zane, even Schwartznegger had a tiny waist without huge blocky abs.

Waist size is determined by your genetic bone structure. You can't do anything to change it's appearence besides lose more fat or gain more muscle.

If you choose NOT to build muscle in the abdominals and obliques, they will look like sh*t when the fat is gone. All of the bodybuilders you named worked very hard to develop their abdominal muscles...the size of their waists was simply a birth right.

Truth^^^^ Frank Zane was famous for his marathon Roman Chair sit-up sessions, and that combined with his genetically narrow pelvis gave him that insanely narrow waist and ridiculous ab development.

If you can choose Brian Buchanan as your father that would be really helpful.

Stomach vacuums and just controlling your mid-section and keep it tight with good posture will help a bit, but bone structure is the determining factor.
