Gaspari Myofusion Probiotics Cinnamon Roll

I recently opened a tub of Cinnamon Roll flavor and was immediately impressed with how good the powder smells. It smells exactly like raw cinnamon roll batter!



The powder:




Basic Protein and Milk Shake



Protein Shake on Cereal



Oatmeal



Pancakes




Muffins:




Rolled Cinnamon Roll Muffins
Adapted from Cinnamon Roll Muffins

Makes 1 dozen muffins

1 cup milk with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar added to it (or 1 cup buttermilk)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
3 to 3 1/2 cups flour (I subbed two scoops of protein powder for 3/4 cup of flour)

Filling:*
2 TBL butter, room temperature
2/3 cup brown sugar
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Icing:
1 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tbsp milk or cream

Directions:
- Pour milk into a measuring cup and add the lemon juice or vinegar. (Skip this step if you are using buttermilk.)
- Measure the brown sugar, baking soda, salt, vanilla and egg into a mixing bowl. Add the milk. Add the flour. Stir until thoroughly combined.
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for a minute or two.
- Roll the dough into a 12-inch by 24-inch rectangle. Spread with butter. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough into a log beginning at the wide side. Stretch the log slightly. Cut into two-inch pieces and put the pieces into greased muffin tins or muffin tins lined with cupcake papers.
- Bake at 375° Fahrenheit for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow the muffins to cool for 5 minutes and then remove from the muffin tins.
- Drizzle with icing (if using) when cool.



Nutritional Info

Mixability 10/10

It mixes pretty easily no matter how you choose to mix it. It mixes up pretty quickly in a blender bottle and obviously mixes up very well in a blender. Mixing with a spoon in a cup works well too.

Taste 10/10

It tastes very good. If you add any fruit to a shake, the fruit will overpower the cinnamon roll flavor, but the powder mixed by itself with milk or water is perfect. It tasted great in the pancakes, muffins, oatmeal and as a shake over cereal too.

Texture 10/10

Since it mixes in completely, there are no issues with any unmixed powder affecting the texture. It is very smooth and creamy no matter how you mix it, just how you want a shake to be!

Overall 10/10

I highly recommend Gasapari Myofusion Probiotics Cinnamon Roll to anyone looking for a good cinnamon roll flavored protein powder. It tastes great, mixes well and is made with quality ingredients.

I blended:
1 cup of oats
½ cup of applesauce
½ cup of cottage cheese
½ cup of milk
2 eggs
2 scoops of protein powder
1 TBSP cinnamon

The were pretty good with the protein sludge on top.

I could see that: more like butter and cream with a touch of cinnamon than specifically tasting like a cinnamon roll, but pretty damn good either way

Agreed. Could have been better but still enjoyable. 3rd best cinnamon protein I've tried, but still tasty.

Just a quick note:

I added some honey to my shake this morning (1 scoop protein powder, 1 cup milk, 1 TBSP honey) and it was really good
