Shout Out!
I to give a huge shout out to the guys over at BSN for picking me to do this epic True-Mass log. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity they’ve given me.
A Little Background
I'm 36 and I've been lifting weights now for about 10 years. I'm 181 lbs today, 6' tall and fairly lean. I’d like to add some mass throughout the winter. Ideally, I’d like to add 5-8lbs of mass.
Current Supplement Stack:
BSN True-Mass
BSN Hyper FX
BSN Cellmass
Training Split
I’m fully committed to my training regimen and I always give 100% effort at the gym. I never hold back. I currently train 6 days a week (5 lifting, 1 cardio). I like to change my workouts fairly frequently to keep things fresh and keep my body growing.
Initial Impressions
The packaging for True-Mass is themed just like other BSN products. Red, with cool reflective lettering. I received the Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate Milk Shake flavors of True-Mass. With my package, I also received 1-10 serving container of N.O.-Xplode 2.0 Watermelon, 1-10 serving container of Amino X Fruit Punch, 3-single serving Hyper-FX Fruit Punch, 1 N.O.Xpode 2.0 T-Shirt, and 1 shaker cup. Very generous!!! Thanks a ton guys!!!
You’ll notice the shaker cup isn’t in the picture above, that’s because it arrived crushed and broken in my box of goodies. The box wasn’t damaged at all, but I guess the courier bounced it around a little too much during transit You’ll see I had to use my Oregon Ducks shaker cup to mix my drink up.
Mixability
I opened the Vanilla Ice Cream First. Opening the product, the first smell I got was of, you guessed it, Vanilla Ice Cream.
The consistency of the Vanilla Ice Cream True-Mass is very light and fine which made it extremely easy to scoop out.
I put three scoops of True-Mass into 16oz of milk as suggested on the package.
I shook it in the cup for about 30 seconds. I found that the despite using 3 full scoops, True-Mass mixed really easily into the milk. There was some froth after the initial mixing but that subsided within a minute.
The True-Mass completely mixed into the milk. There were absolutely no lumps, clumps, or undissolved particles of any kind in here.

Taste
BSN always seems to hit home runs when it comes to taste. Again, this product tastes just like it’s described, Vanilla Ice Cream! Delicious!!
I will be doing daily updates through the course of this log. Once I’ve used to the product for a little while, I’ll start discussing the effectiveness of this gain. Hold on, because it’s gonna be a fun ride!

Thanks for subb'n in ender!! I'm glad to see you made it
The game was great. It was close the entire time. It was a great experience being in Eugene during the game. The entire city was electric. There was a sea of green everywhere before and after the game. Everyone was wearing team apparel. I'm glad we were able to stop there on the way home, catch the game and experience the win in the home town.

Day 1 (Yesterday) - High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT):
Ok, so the first day of my True-Mass log was a High Intensity Training (HIIT) day. I was doing HIIT twice a week. Since I’ll be bulking with True-Mass, I’ll be cutting the HIIT sessions down to one day a week, and hitting weights 5 days a week. I did a 60/90 HIIT split session today 10 sets with a 3 minute warm up and 3 minute cool down. I drank 2 scoops of True-Mass mid afternoon, and another 2 scoops before bed.

Day 2 - Back
Back day today. It was extra busy in the gym tonight. Still filled with all the new years resolution noobs. I don’t have a problem sharing equipment, but it burns me when people just sit on the equipment and talk. I’m still loving the wide grip pullups. They still give me a great pump. I had 2 scoops of True-Mass with 16oz of milk in the afternoon. I’ll be taking another 2 scoops in 16oz of milk before I go to sleep tonight.

oh what a question! Lots of great backside positions/movements. They're all so great and effective. Although, the wife isn't a huge fan of the back. I don't tend to be picky though; the various frontal motions are enjoyable as well.
Wait... what are you guys talking about? I'm talking about bb rows versus bench press.

LOL too funny!
For thickness building, I like doing dumbbell and barbell rows. I’ve found in the past doing row allows me to achieve noticeable size gains.
However, my favorite back exercise has to be wide grip pullups and close grip pullups. Nothing gets my back muscles burning like pullups. They’re simple yet very effective. I also find pullups are great developing the cuts and groves in my back.
I have a little side story about pullups. Anyone here go to the ufc 141 fights or watch the fights on TV last Friday?
What’s everyone else’s favorite back exercise?
