I've watched Biggest Loser the last few years and am really enjoying it. Bob is a beast! I find a lot of motivation from seeing these folks overcome their challenges. Makes my challenges seem a bit trivial.
Some succeed and some fail. I've tried to learn from the failures and feed off of the success.
Anyone else?

Bob is a "Beast?????" Since becoming vegan, Bob looks like he's dying from AIDS.
Jillian was a drama queen who I swear is a tranny.
The tennis player is the lamest trainer I've seen.

Every time I watch that show I ask myself, how the hell did these people let themselves get so incredibly obese? I mean I was 60 lbs. overweight and I knew I had a problem. How do you get to be 400+ and not see something wrong with that? I find more motivation on this site personally. It makes good tv though I guess.

I do like the show. I enjoy watching the transformations. I missed Season 13's premiere. Hopefully my DVR recorded it. I'll have to check.

I can't watch this show. I went through it on my own losing in the ballpark of 180#, minus all the drama and manipulation. I'm really happy for the people (who cares how, as long you get there, right?) but the whole thing makes me very uncomfortable.

I dont care for the show.
They cry too much.
Plus too much workouts and not enough diet focus. I lost over 100 lbs and i mainly did it through diet. Of course I worked out all the time but not to ridiculous levels.
i never once cried because i was fat.
So in reality what this show does is to show people that the only real way to lose weight is to work yourself half to death in the gym while someone yells at you. of course its brought to you by 24 hours fitness so that makes sense.
Oh yeah, use ziplock bags too.
i comment the contestants for their hard work but the crying is too much for me.
What I like is how the people get on the scale for the first time and relize that they are 450 lbs. then they looked suprised like somehow with all the medical exams and hoops they had to jump through to get on the show they didnt know that they were fat and had no idea how they got that way. must be bad metabolism."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. I agree. I've never so many sharp angles on a woman's face. I do think she has a vag though.
Bob is too skinny. Me no likey skinny dudes. He's nice though.
Haven't checked out the new dude. Will mute sound when he comes on, so as not to spoil the whole thing.
I've also wondered why on earth do they have to weigh shirtless and/or in a sports bra. Is that really necessary? How much can a T-shirt weigh? I know, I know ratings.

Of course we all assume jillian has switched teams but what about Bob? i always just assumed he preferred catching to pitching. just an observation.

My take on it is that their skin is not all flappy yet so they look "sexy", good for ratings of course. As they loose weight sexy does not loose flappy skin make. So at that point the clothes come on. Too, spare the embarrassment of the contestant, maybe.
I'm open to any suggestions and have a difficult time accepting limitations without an honest effort on my part, you can count on that!

I love it but we are a bit behind in the UK, Season 10 started on Tuesday evening so I have to put up with Jillian for another season!!! The same night the new UK version series started and we have a new trainer as the last one commited suicide (Andy Dowds).
This is the new trainer which makes for a more pleasant viewing experience!!

I love Biggest Loser! I am sad Jillian is gone though. When I first started watching the show I couldn't stand her but the more I learned about her, read stuff she has written etc I think she is a compassionate, knowledgable and caring person who knows her sh!t. She isn't gay and even if she were it still doesn't change that she's awesome.
I love Bob and think he's hot vegan or not but his new hair sucks.
Dolvett is great but I think needs to be tougher on his team.
Having read a book by a past contestant, they do not show a lot of food prep b/c let's face it, it's not entertaining to watch. I have cried b/c of my weight. I think if you laugh or think they cry too much you haven't travelled in their footsteps or understand where they are coming from because you have not experienced it. The get to such enormous sizes because IT ISN'T ABOUT THE FOOD. They are much deeper hurts that are being medicated with easily attainable food.
With that said...YAY BL!!!! I'm cheering for Bob's team right now .... who are you rooting for fuller?Journal but the 2020/2021 ed. ---> https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=141049421

Never said gay. I said "born a man/post-op transexual." Huge differnce. Either that or she took so many masulinizing hormones that she permantly squared her jaw.
And no, she is NOT "knowledgeable." I read Master Your Metabolism and it was fill with untruths and she---more than once---would contradict HERSELF on the same page!!! Now she's on The Doctors trying to pass herself off as someone who has a medical degree?Sheriff John Brown always hated me

It's her bone structure ... she isn't the most feminine looking person but it doesn't mean she was a man or took steroids. I haven't read master your metabolism but have read her other books...and imo she is knowledgable on many subjects. She is on the Dr.'s but does not in any way try to pass herself off as someone who has a medical degree.

Hey Cactus! I haven't been around for awhile, divorce will do that to ya, stress ya out, but now Im back.
Im a huge BL fan. Been watching it for years. Jillian was tough, she got to the root of the problem, she was good. Bob, being one of the two original trainers is a favorite. But I like Dolvett! I agree he needs to get more intense, but he did win last week!Workout Thread

Sorry to hear about the divorce
I have her book Unlimited and it's awesome. It's exactly what she did with her contestants behind the scenes to help them be successful. Her team won several times!
I was surprised Dolvett won TBH. When they showed the comparison shot of Bob's team working out and his, I did laugh. I think it will be an interesting dynamic between the two. I can't remeber though, was Dolvett's team heavier? I know they are older but heavier?
It was a good first episode. I was surprised to see some of the histories of the contestant's meaning "wow it does happen" .... you'll know what I mean when you watch it. If not, ask lol.Journal but the 2020/2021 ed. ---> https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=141049421
