I appreciate this opportunity to log Beta-Cret. My name is Lonnie, I'm 66 years old. Fitness has been a life style for me for most of my life. Currently, my routine is a six day split..Mon: legs and abs, Tues: chest, Wed: triceps, Thurs: back, Fri: biceps, Sat: shoulders and traps, Sun: off. I do some sort of cardio 5 to 6 days a week. My goals for 2012; Maintain a high level of fitness and compete in running events in distances from 5K to the half marathon. I'm glad to be a part this promo and look forward to sharing information and interacting with others doing this promo. I will start logging my workouts tomorrow.

Well I guess I should introduce myself to everyone, and Lonnie.
First off I have to say its an honor to be making this log with Lonnie; instead of an old guy trying to keep up with the young kids I feel like a young kid trying to keep up with a monster. So about me: Well I am currently a senior in high school, and this will be my first sponsored log and I'm glad to start with a product such as Beta-Cret. It's currently wrestling season for me, so I'm only lifting 3 to 4 times a week, with 30 to 50 minutes of cardio at least 5 times a week. I am a fairly avid fitness enthusiast, more so on the strength and weightlifting side. I'm hoping Beta-Cret will give a boost for my workouts as they are usually after practice; I also plan to use it to advance my strength and conditioning to make my state title run this season successful.
My lifts are as follow:
Squat: 350x3
Deadlift: 350x3( have neglected this seriously)
Bench Press: 225x3
OHP:185 for a few reps.

Workout for Wednesday 01/04
Cardio - 20 mins elliptical, moderate effort..Done following weight training.
Triceps
Incline cable push downs with rope - 6x15 40LBS
One arm push downs-reverse grip, each arm - 6x12 20LBS
Triceps push downs, elbows flared - 1x15 90LBS, 5x10 100LBS
One arm push downs, each arm - 1x30 15LBS, 1x50 10LBS
This is the first time I tried incline push downs using a rope..It's a little more difficult than a straight bar and seemed to better isolate the muscle. Hit the triceps hard with heavy push downs, elbows flared, then got the blood circulating and hit the slow twitch muscles with the light weight/high reps one arm push downs..Good or bad??"No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize." --1 Corinthians 9:27
