Haven't actually seen the scene in Irreversible but the rape scene in Girl with the Dragon Tattoo made me uneasy and gave me the weirdest boner at the same time.

I thought the remake was actually tame. I heard the '72 original packed way more of a punch. Straw Dogs I'll check out. I find it hard to believe a movie starring Dustin Hoffman could contain a gritty rape scene.
