How much can the average man deadlift?

So I know that the average man can bench 135 pounds, but how much can the average man deadlift?

As accurate as anything else you will find. I've been lifting seriously for less than 9 months and all my lifts are at the 'advanced' level. But I'm kind of a freak.

If that chart doesn't make you feel good about your current strength levels, then you are doing something wrong.

From my experience training others, about body weight is what an untrained "average" adult person can deadlift. Having said that, the weight lifted in the deadlift tends to go up fast and faster than the rest of compound lifts; deadlifting double bodyweight in a short span of time is not uncommon.

    All the best.
