Progress pics on your bodyspace are wierd
It takes the first photo as the before and the second photo as the after.
E.g. Look at Rackich's profile, his current is his 2007 photo of him when he was skinny. His before is him as a baby.Otago uni brah

We have received a bit of feedback about an issue with our metric to imperial conversion on the new BodySpace. We will have a fix for this and the progress picture issues in place next week. Keep the feedback coming!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^This. Bodyspace was known for it's unique design and quick/user friendly layout. Now you guys over did it with all this extra bs thats not even needed. i think if most of us wanted a fb layout/design, we would of signed up for fb itself. Definitly fail.
300 plus lbs with abs feels good. lol.

I kind of preferred the original which is simpler and cleaner. The only bad thing about the classic bodyspace was the navigation..maybe made it easier to navigate would been better
As another poster said, why not allow customization of bodyspaces such as making your own layouts and adding/removing elements?

Way too confusing. Half of the time when I click it, it takes well over 30 seconds to load. Also, there is no "forum control panel" for us to see our latest reps. There's no way for us to access them at all, :\.
Oh, and under our "latest threads" section..it does not have the latest threads we have created, only the olllllllllld ones.

There is some truth to the statement, "Less is More!" The vast majority of us would have settled for old page design with the bugs fixed (e.g. photo gallery comments and ratings, page counters, bodyblogs, etc., etc.). The design not as intuitive as it should be. But since you've instituted the changes, I would ask:
1. that you make sure visitor stats are back on the top page. THIS one of MY major motivators. I love to know the number of visitors who stop by my page! LOL! It had been doing VERY well lately!
2. that our personal information, age, hometown and other informatio (stories) be prominently featured. Right now, it is not apparent where to find members' "profile information." Many members' stories have inspired me and I've had a few members tell me that my profile is inspirational as well. It is helpful and motivating to read about the obstacles that members have overcome to transform their bodies.
3. that videos or at least a thumbnail of the videos be placed on the top page. I tried to structure my old page so that I could present exercises and informative content with the videos I posted.
4. that page comments are visible.
5. that you add a "batch editing" feature to the progress and photo gallery for ease of deleting accumulated pictures.
6. that you treat blog comments as other "forum posts" so that people can see when we respond to their posts on our blogs.
7. that you repair and/or upgrade the notification process for page and blog comments, friend requests, etc.
If I'm looking at what you are doing to allow us to manage friend requests, I applaud it. It was certainly getting more difficult to manage a growing "fan club" and frankly, I would like the opportunity to accept or deny a friend request. "Not now" doesn't sound "permanent" but it will do for now in dealing with requests that we'd prefer not to honor.
My biggest criticism, however, is the TIMING of the launch of this new page! So many people are about to start their new year fitness programs and have joined here, only to find a great deal of confusion and disarray. This might be discouraging for some. I also know of some long-standing members who are very distraught about the new design and I fear you may lose a few members. YOU ALSO NEED TO USE THE BLOG ON A WEEKLY, IF NOT DAILY, BASIS TO LET MEMBER'S KNOW WHAT CHANGES ARE PENDING! I would even go so far as to say that every member should be connected to BodySpace Admin as a "friend. The communication was very poor leading up to the launch of this redesign.
I hope that some of the issues that I've mentioned above are taken into consideration as you continue the redesign of BodySpace and that you as rapidly as possible address and resolve the many issues that other loyal BodySpace users have mentioned in this and other forums thus far. I'm looking forward to a great 2012 and hopefully with my BodySpace family intact! Best wishes to all of you!Andrew W. Harris Jr., MA, MS
