Quick question about nicotine, testosterone, and building muscle
Hey everyone so 2 days ago I quit smoking cold turkey because I realized testosterone decreases when smoking. Do any of you know how long it takes to rise up to normal levels after quitting smoking?
It says around 4 days w/o smoking and nicotine is out of your system so would it be around 4 days? Thank you for the responses
for one, nicotine isn't going to stop test production to that extent. 2, smoking is nasty as hell anyways, its prob the lack of sexual encounter lowering your test since no girl wants a guy why smoke cigs. and 3, because something isn't out of your system doesn't mean it'll increase your test immediately. otherwise guys on drugs wouldn't pct, it can take months/ years for the body to start producing adequate hormones after being suppressed, and this goes for all hormones.
It will take some time, and I am sure it`s all individual and it depends on your lifestyle, genetics, your age and many other things. And, by the way, there are tons other reasons for low test testosterone. If you are curious how to test testosterone levels, check the article I left in the link. It describes what hormones are responsible for testosterone level, how to test them and what to do with the results. It`s too big article to retell in on forum. Good luck with testosterone!)
