Hello BB.com. I want to start off stating that I am not a pothead. I am a 20 year old full time student with 2 jobs. Unfortunately I have a displaced vertebral disc with causes severe back pain all the time. My options are to live with the pain, or be a zombie on pain medicines. Back surgery is an expensive option in which I don't want to go through at this young of an age. On my pain medication I find myself not eating and I had become dependent on them to go throughout my day. Liver illness runs through my family, so I have to be careful with what I put into my body. I do not live in a state with a medicinal marijuana program so I had to take it upon myself to purchase marijuana. It has been a full week since I began using marijuana medicinally and I have seen many improvements in my life. First off, I am no longer in pain all day. It is not the numbness of the pills, but a calming normality. I have regained the weight I lost from under eating and I have even been able to return to playing soccer, which is my absolute favorite thing in the world.
What is BB.com's opinion on medicinal marijuana?

I also use it medicinally. I have stomach ulcers, abdominal migranes and chronic pain from multiple shoulder injuries.
I wouldn't be able to lead a normal life without it. I would be sick and vomitting most days and the other ones I wouldn't be able to eat hardly at all. Body Building would be out of the question.
But if people like to use it to just get high, I don't care. Thats their choice.
And to the person who said it doesn't mix well with body building, I only have one thing to say. Arnold Schwarzenegger. As long as you can stay on your diet, and keep motivated, there is nothing wrong with smoking it in conjunction with body building."If it doesn't swim, run, or fly, or isn't green and grow in the ground, don't eat it." words to live by

'Arnold smoked pot therefore pot is good for you' is a pretty weak argument. You could probably find a successful bodybuilder on meth, crack and heroin. It doesn't mean meth is good for bodybuilders.
I don't want to start a flame war here, but weed may decrease motivation, it lowers test levels and raises oestrogen. It isn't a bodybuilders friend.
I'm not against drugs, but it may interfere with bodybuilding.Gonna get 99 Strength, Attack, Defence, Hitpoints and Agility IRL brah.

It decreses testosterone an insignificant amount, just like masterbation. Decreased motivation all depends on the individual. When I get high I want to go lift weights.
I'm willing to bet that a heroine junkie or a tweaker would not be succesful body builders."If it doesn't swim, run, or fly, or isn't green and grow in the ground, don't eat it." words to live by

Watch 'Super High Me' for the lols.
Also I smoke to increase appetite. When I do not smoke I can not eat very much at all, and it has always been like this for me. I also smoke to help me relax before bed as well. Feelsgoodman.Life is a choice, and death is a decision.
Above the law but under the influence.
