    Question about powerblocks...

Couldn't quite find the answer to this one by searching previous posts, but based on the design of power blocks, is it at all possible to do lifts such as Dumbbell Triceps Extension? Seems like it might not be possible because you won't be able to grip both hands around one end like a traditional DB...

Also is the urathane or the sports powerblocks more preferred?

You can do that lift, and many more with power blocks.

I went with the Urethanes, but I'm a novice lifter.

The tubes that hold the adder weights can be used as handles for tricep extensions.

    I prefer the urethane model.
