I dont believe it in the way it is told but I can believe someone saw the signs of a upcoming flood and built a boat/floating storage where he loaded his animals and grain. Then as the story was passed down through oral tradition it got exagerated

And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time." -- T.S. Eliot.

I believe, problem?
God called one of every type, not full grown, not bugs, not animals in the water and all babys.
Not a wolf a coyote and a pitbull, probably just two baby wolves.
If God called the creatures to the area I believe that, because he's God I wouldn't argue the fact that he could call in animals from whereever they may have been.
