Not there yet, but closer than I was yesterday.

Trasnformation
Last year I began a journey to loose weight in the process I decided to step on stage this October 2013 and compete in figure. I started at 260 lbs picture posted is December 2012 to June 2013. I have been through many triumphs froma 9 year verbally and physically abusive relationship to finding an amazing boyfriend who also competes in bodybuilding. My inspiration came from going to his first show. Today I am at 168 lbs and plan to be around 145 lbs on stage. Please message me or ask any questions!

Wow, man, you went hard! Good luck on all of your goals as you progress forward.
Dude, so much closer. Plus, that's a decent transformation for 1 day. :P
But seriously, you look great man.
That's so amazing what someone like you can do in 6 months! Thanks for sharing your story, cause it's a good one. Big time congrats on getting out of that prison, too, and finding what you have now.MFP: Owlyx

Some great motivating pictures in here I'm only 2 proper weeks in to my 'transformation' but feeling good and I'm positive I will reach my goals eventually!
I'm seeing some small changes. I have a fair bit of body fat to lose and this is my main aim, but if I can gain a little muscle too I will be very happyGoing for gold :)

March 2013-215lbs/ July 2013-165lbs
Hopefully I'm doing this right. I'm new to this site and to fitness. I've been winging it for about 4 months now. Back in March of this year I went to the Doc and she informed me I had high blood pressure/cholesterol. I'm 27 and was put on cholesterol medicine. At the time I was also sitting at 215 lbs and on my way to a divorce. That's all the motivation I needed to make a change. I started off at 215 lbs and now I'm currently sitting at 165 lbs. I have no clue what my body fat % is. I lurked around on this site for a couple weeks now and decided to join. Looks like a great support group!

Thanks a lot!!!
Honestly man from March to May I literally ran my ass off. I didn't do any weight training till maybe June. I started off my 1st week running 1.5 miles and by the end of the week i was running 3 miles. A week after that I went up to 5 miles and almost 2 weeks after that I went up to 5 miles twice a day. From March to May I ran at least 5 miles at least 5 days a week. Now I run at least 3 miles every single day along with resistance training etc. I really just wing it man. My break from the gym is going once a day instead of going 2-3 times but I go every day. I have no set workout plan besides running that I stick to. I just do anything that works my muscles and makes me sweat. That along with cutting ALL SUGAR out of my diet. At first I was drinking only water and unsweetened green tea. Now I only drink water. I would say my diet is what did it for me. I went extreme cutting EVERYTHING out. I don't have cheat meals or anything. I eat hella fresh vegetables and when I have a sweet tooth I eat fruit.
