    My transformation

    --short story, had some health issues and it made me gain quite a bit of weight..and then finally was able to lose it and here I am today shredding along

    I want to compete possibly next year!

    It is a good example of how a person can become completely different. I think the key to lose weight is motivation. My father also lost about 40 lbs. He had a lot of motivation. He followed the "Muscle Maximizer" program guide. He not only lost weight but also grow some muscle. I think this is the best program which helps to lose weight.     my program change by feel, i do powerlifitng and strongman training
    mostly sets of 1-5 reps on compound movements, but i do work certain muscles specifically not so much for movement
    biceps, lats, lower traps are groups i try to hit hard for the size and function

    Picture on the left was me about 6 months ago. I always dreamed about becoming a US Marine, but I always struggled with my weight. I finally got serious and went on a strict diet & exercise plan. After losing 62lbs, I enlisted. I leave to boot camp on January 14, 2013.

    Alright Im new here. I used to be the picture of health and over the years I have let me self really go. I dont know whats going on but after a week of working out and eating right I gained a pound. I really cant afford to add any weight at this point so whats going on. Should I freak out?
