Crosspost from my own thread.
I wanted to share my long journey with everyone here so maybe it can help motivate someone who is in the same position. I know my journey is long from over but I wanted to share my progress so far. Currently my goal is to get to 205- 210 by July for my vacation.
Start: 6'3 328lb, 44 pants size, and 3xl tshirts

So far: 6'3 223lbs, 34 pants size, l-xl tshirts

Also, any idea what my bodyfat would be? I honestly can not wait too bulk, not for the extra calories, but just because I want to gain some size.
What should be an ideal weight for me to aim for so I can start bulking? I have no idea how to gauge how many more pounds to lose to lose the extra weight weight in my abdomen. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Getting close to my one year mark.... Updated 4/16/12
Alright all..... Creeping up on a year here since I started. I was 370 at my peak... First pics.... now 221. Things are coming along and I am excited about the fact that I am closer to 200 than 300 (silly I know), but the hard work seems to be paying off. Looking forward to the one year mark just a short 3 months away.... Keep pushing fellas!

During High School I was able to drop down to 180 because I joined the basketball team and took it quite serious. I kept it off until my mid 20's when I had a drinking problem. Joined the gym and stopped drinking (not completely) last June and lost 28 pounds since and have gotten quite tone. Still not satisfied though!!

Well I know I'm not fit yet, and still very much in the fat stage but posting this up for a bit of motivation as I've hit a bit of a wall these past few days/week.
This was from December(ish!) to middle of March - from about 290lbs to 245lbs.
I notice a difference but not a huge one but obviously clothes are fitting better.
3 months-13mar11upload.jpgStill chunk.

Great stories all over this thread. I wish I took a picture before I began my journey, so I could do a before/after when I'm done with my transformation.
As for my personal transformation, it is a work in progress. I am currently 10 weeks in and down from 292 to 261 so far and I feel amazing. The next 31 lbs will be even easier, now that my motivation level is at an all time high. I kinda fumbled into this transformation, but this website has been a godsend. Learning about IIFYM alone makes bodybuilding.com the single greatest resource of information I could ever ask for. Anyways, thanks for sharing, hopefully I will have something for you guys this summer.
