What is Testabolan?

Testabolan is a nutritional supplement in the category of anabolic/androgenic agents that influences specific hormones in the human body. Basically, these modifications alter the substance slightly so that it enters the bloodstream intact, either orally, or by injection, and then by an enzymatic reaction converts to testosterone or one of the other hormones in the body.

What are the prohormone substances in Testabolan?

The first prohormone substance is Boldenoid (1,4 Androstadiene-3 alpha, 17B dione).

Leading anabolic substance authorities have proclaimed this direct testosterone precursor to be the most orally active prohormone available today. Boldenoid is a direct precursor to the anabolic hormone Boldenone, widely administered as an injected veterinary steroid. It is a powerful testosterone precursor with low to moderate androgenic characteristics. Boldenoid is highly orally bioavailable, which is most often the problem with prohormones. But, this unique compound is resistant to 17-ketosteroid deactivation, which takes place in the liver, lowering the potential for this compound to be rendered inactive. Because Boldenoid is an extremely strong muscle builder, it possesses some aromatizing potential (as do all bulking anabolics). The positive news is that this potential is roughly half that of other anabolics including androstendione and even testosterone. The gains in muscle mass are so significant, and the conversion to estrogen and the associated side effects so minimal, this substance is the clear choice for putting on lean muscle.

Boldenoid converts to testosterone by the 17 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase enzyme.

The second prohormone is Masteroid (5-Alpha Androstane 3, 17B diol).

All androgens have the potential for aromatization, including testosterone. Elevated levels of testosterone are down regulated in the body by the potential conversion to dihydrotestosterone and (estrodiol) estrogen. Beta Sitosterol inhibits this down regulation and the potential associated side effects.

Beta Sitosterol inhibits enzyme 5-alpha reductase, decreasing the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

The addition of Phytoroid to Testabolan is to increase the anabolic action of Boldenoid and Masteroid, and protect against the potential side effects of prostate complications, gynecomastia, water retention, and increased body fat.

Are there any potential side effects from taking Testabolan?

The most common potential side effects from taking Testabolan are those typically related to elevated anabolic hormones. How do I cycle Testabolan?

On training days take one capsule 90 minutes prior to training. Take on an empty stomach. Advanced athletes or athletes over 200 lbs. can take up to 2 capsules three times a day. Again, on training days take one dose 90 minutes prior to training. Do this for 5 consecutive days taking 2 consecutive days off in between the on days. After 4 weeks of taking Testabolan, take 2 weeks off to let the body readjust before starting another on cycle.

Will I test positive in drug tests?

Everyone will experience different levels of increased androgen hormones from taking Testabolan, but it is highly likely that if you are to be tested for anabolic steroids or other performance enhancing drugs, you will test positive.

Those first three posts are from 2003.
From what I've gathered there was a PH called Testabolan back around then which is obviously illegal now.
Theres a new Testabolan by I Force (http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/iforce/test.html) that is coming out Feb 7th of 2007. As they have yet to release the ingredients, no one really knows what it is yet. It is again some sort of designer test booster, but make sure that the info you are reading is about the right Testabolan before you buy it.
