I'm not sure about TW but I know TW sucks on Note 2 or any phone with 4.1.2 out the box. People who experienced the beauty of stock android (AOSP ROMs) will have hesitations going back to TW. But my gf have the S4 with TW at 4.2.2 and so far its good. I installed Nova launcher though to cover the TW UI.
I really think the TW 4.3 on Note 3 is a lot better than the TW of Note 2. Some of us just like to hate TW. I dont hate it but I prefer the custom ROM over the Note 2 stock TW. I'm sure I'll be enjoying 4.3 TW if I'll upgrade to Note 3 though.Steam - jinda28

When I got my Note 2, I rooted it immediately but I stayed stock for like 3 months. I was ok with it. Its fast, but gets a little laggy at the end of the day so I just clear the memory.
Then I said I'm gonna test some ROMs and see. I tested some ROMs and ended up going back to stock a couple of times until I tested Vanilla Rootbox 4.2.2 where I used it until the dev stopped updating it. I flashed a Jexi X series after which is like stock but debloated but difference between it and an AOSP on speed is obvious for me so I looked for another ROM which right now is Liquid Smooth 4.3.
I think whats bad in Note 2 was the 4.1.2. 4.2.2 is a lot faster than 4.1.2 and so as 4.3. That's why I have high hopes that 4.3 TW on Note 3 will be ok.
For sure I'll stay stock for a while if I'll upgrade. Good thing though, is that there will be 4.3 TW ROMs out there because the official 4.3 TW is out. You will have a lot of choices.Steam - jinda28

I'm not sure what happened. I know its about Knox and eFuse. I stopped following the development because I decided to wait out by next year if I'll upgrade. I'm sure you'll get some answer from xdaforums about that.
Edit: I took a quick look and I can see some active threads for ROMs like Wicked, Jedi Elite, etc in that forum so I guess they figured it out.
These are from TMO forum.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2486900 - Wicked (Not sure if TW though)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2493795 - I think this Jedi Elite is a 4.3 TW with 4.4 stuff.Last edited by jinda628; 11-06-2013 at 12:10 PM.

That wicked one seems awesome, I guess when I get it next week I'll give it a few weeks stock to see performance wise if it's good to go stock.
The main reason id even root and or flash a ROM is to get rid of the bloat ware that I'll never ever sniff on the note 3, but from my understanding from a few friends is that the stock note 3 is already so fast that you don't even notice any of the bloat ware lag. I know they all have just kept it stock and just disabled and his the bloat ware stuff and says it's still lightning fast.
Hopefully the weather widget (having it up on the first screen) doesn't drain battery too fast on the note 3. I seem to be one of the few that actually like it there.Modified PHAT master race

Good lookin out brah. No more lines for me.
Gettin my Nexus 5 tomorrow. Upgrading from a GNexus too. Can't wait to have a fast device.
Also, just ordered this wireless charger. It's also a charge bank and can charge 2 devices at once while not plugged in to AC. Seems pretty sweet. Anyone use one before?

I'm really fukin excited for this phone. I'm a little sad that tmobile service isn't as good as verizon but I'm done with them and their chit.
Yea, definitely saw it in that thread. I was contemplating getting the Nokia chargers from AT&T because you can get 3 for ~$55 but then I saw this one. Love that I can wirelessly charge... wirelessly. Primed it to work so I'll get it Friday. I'll post up my initial thoughts when I get it.Horsehead Firearms Crew

I won't be picking up a new Nexus 10 for personal use but we will probably buy 2 of them right at launch for work. Pretty excited for that thing to drop.

^ I see you got the white. Does it look cheap to you? Some reviews claimed white is glossy and looks cheap for some reason.

How long you brahs reckon it'll be until the S4 gets 4.4? I'm thinking TW will probably take way longer than CM, but if Google releases 4.4 for the GE S4 than it won't be long until there's custom roms running it

Sup brahs. Just got an S3 (a bit late to the party eh?). Downloaded NovaLauncher and using the stock android theme atm. Anything I should do to make my android experience yuckier? Looking for a minimalistic theme, is Minimal UI good? Reps for good suggestions.

Been a while since I added to this thread, and I doubt I will check it later as I have been kind of busy.
But a couple apps that I have been using that really change, and worth sharing to any new Android users
ExDialer
DynamicNotifications
And finally got on the Nova Launcher, not bad but nothing too crazy compared to Apex.▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Day 2 of Nexus 5 master race.... feels good.
Coming from Nexus 4, finally LTE on T-mobile, doesn't get nearly as hot, KitKat is definitely an improvement, speaker not on back of phone thank God, screen is plenty bright and beautiful, smooth as butter, camera definitely improved especially dark photos (compared the Nexus 4), KitKat SMS and Dialer very much improved, Caller ID nice addition.

Note 3 master race checking in.
The issue with the brick is due to the users installing the older custom recoveries, making a back up, and loading that back up (which causes the boot loop). They sorted out that problem now though but strongly suggest that if you're using twrp, make a back up with it, then only load it up with twrp and not CWM.

I have no issues whatsoever with my stock note3 with TW. It's very smooth compared to the previous notes. Only gripe I have with the phone is that the speaker is located on the bottom part of the phone, meaning if you hold it side ways to play a game then you may end up covering the speaker up with your hand.
