If the s4 doesn't live up to the hype I'm in trouble. I would get the HTC One but I'm on Verizon. I'm really gonna be screwed if it's not 100% boss.

This is my life. Are you me? I really hope the Galaxy S IV kicks ass software wise and hard wise wise. Cannot be that hard to fuse beautiful hardware with their software. Bloody hell Verizon and their stupid phone release schedule. Brb releasing HTC One in middle of summer in a completely different casing with big ass Verizon logo plastered every .5 inches -_-

I have a Note 2 but try to visit the S3 development section in xda-dev forum. Here's a link I found with MultiWindow from Omega ROM series:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1663656
Well S4 is rumored to have an Exynos 5 Octa chipset (1x1.8Quad and 1x1.2Quad) compared to HTC One's 1.7Quad. Camera seems to be similar with 13MP but I'm not sure what sensor they are using. S4 seems to have a slight advantage in battery with 2600mAh (removable) compared to HTC's 2300 (non-removable). mSD from S4 and none from HTC but may not be a big issue anymore due to cloud storage. Just hope that S4 will look aesthetic as HTC One is really a beauty.
All these is from GSMArena.com though. The specs they have for S4 are not official as any other source so far.Last edited by jinda628; 03-05-2013 at 07:35 AM.

Got a prob brahs. Galaxy S II, keeps turning on and off randomly, sometimes when I'm using it, sometimes when it's just lying on the counter and not even being used. Guy at cell store said a factory reset would fix the problem. Seems like a pain in the ass, any other fixes for this?

For HTC? Well yes, that's one point for them. But these phones will be releasing newer versions of both Exynos and Snapdragon. Snapdragon seems to be faster in last gens bench comparison but it will be a 2xQuad (exynos) vs Quad (SnapD) for this new phones. Well, we have to wait to see. Some apple IP5 users will say more core doesnt always mean more speed.

What about Dolphin Mini? It isn't the same as Dolphin HD, and a lot of people prefer the nimble feel of Mini. I tend to lean more in Mini's direction myself, even though I have a high-end phone.
And Firefox BLOWS. It's amazing how slow, unintuitive and clunky it is. They're seriously dropping the ball on the mobile market and that sucks because I love Firefox. Bleh.
Got the Nexus 4 and it IS a thing of beauty - screaming fast, solid build and Jellybean 4.2.2 runs like butter on a hot pan. And undiluted Android?

Yes, if it had MicroSD storage it would be pretty much perfect.

Link brah?
All my searches gives me Exynos 5 results. And there's no official/confirmation of the specs yet.
I know Samsung gimped US S3 version but they didnt gimp the CPU for Note 2 even on LTE versions.
And one of the advantages they claim for 8 cores is better battery consumption.Steam - jinda28

I haven't had lag on my last 3 phones (iPhone 4, Htc One X, now Note 2).
I feel waiting for a more powerful processor is silly at this point. It's all dick measuring. Get the one that has the best UI/OS, best battery life, and camera.
BRB not buying 1.7ghz quad-core processor phone cause the 'new' 1.8ghz quad-core is coming. Dick measuring I swear.

Was out with friends yesterday and they were talking about this new app called "Find my Friends". The app allows for friends to accept each other then see their location pinpoint anywhere in the world.
Why would you want this? stalker time.Founder of the Jason Genova archive.

Sounds a lot like ( Google) Latitude which at first seemed like a cool idea but is pretty gimmicky.
I tried it two years ago, I think, as a way of knowing my family's location while out and about. This way, if they were on their way home and I needed something, I could see if they were near a store.
It didn't always work very well and even if it had, it was much easier to just call/text them.
Last year, I remember a thread where some Miscer wanted to use it to track his girlfriend's where abouts but I don't think he was able to. Not only would he have had to activate it on her phone but I think the app tells you that your location is being transmitted.
