Awesome on the overnight loss. How much do you usually lose overnight? Some of the things I was reading was saying that 2lb fluctuations from evening to morning weight are normal under normal circumstances, but during the water load it was like 8! Are you doing the sodium, too? I have heard it goes just fine without the unsavory salt water shots (blech) but afraid to change now since the last test went so well. Excited to see how this works out for you. Chug it, girl!!
That is a good read that Arian posted (and no salt water shots there either, hmmm). do you take creatine? I was wondering what to do with that during the water cut, was going to just drop it a week out since cutting it usually means a few pounds off, too, but I like what the article said about just cutting the dosage.CSCS

haha! Me too! It's way too cold out here, I feel like such a hermit Can't wait to get outside again on a regular basis! We've got sub freezing temps (REALLY sub) for at least another FULL WEEK. And there's SO MUCH snow around, the sidewalks are covered. Doesn't the weather know that it's March now? Winters over, go away! lol!

exciting! The first night that happened I was like 'oh no, this is backfiring' lol, only after some digging around did I find an article saying that the weight will float much higher than normal during the water loading. Yeah, people always say that drinking water curbs appetite, and I thought that was utter crap because water is not filling at all - until you are drinking 2 gallons of it.

Last Night:
Yup was soooo full. Lot near enough 5lbs over night with only 1 get up in the night
Morning weight 143lbs
Smov Jr Wk 2 Day 3
WU
10@20, 25
5@30, 35
MS
8x4@42.5
Rack Pulls/Playing with Ironmind Straps (Stupidly started at too low a weight but hey)
3@100, 120, 130
2@140
1@150
Bit pi$$ed because I did 3@150 last time I did pulls :/ Maybe smov is taking more off a toll than I thought?
Straps were good, did 1 of the reps at 140 and thought I was going to lose the bar (slippery/bad grip!) so chalked up and did the last 140 and 150 RAAAAW. I used straps for all the others and it felt good, although small wrists... maybe should have gone with my original option of the short and sweet ones. I'll get there
Haven't done these for a while.....
LEG EXT!
10@40, 50, 60
Supersetted with:
Hammer Row
10@37, 41, 41
Tri PD
3x12@7Pcs (time to move up next time)
DB Shoulder Press
3x12@10s
Explosive Yates Rows to finish my back off
8@30
4x6@30
Tri Dips Unassisted BW
3x5 WOOOOO! Time to up the reps a bit
Time for a hot bath with some himalyan sea salts to sweat it out before I start on my 2 gallons of water..... mmmmmmmmm! Need a wee just thinking about it (sorry, TMI!)
Oh and because I've been working my back a lot lately, here's a progress pic (I've removed the background out of choice so please excuse some of the rougher edges!)... and the top is a tribute to Megdaig I think we have the same taste in workout gear!
Hard to see - must get some proper photos but my middle section (lower traps) are improving slowly (or at least I like to think so - still got a ways to go!)

LOVE the avi. omg - your back and that tiny little waist! You look like an action figure.
Love that overnight loss, isn't it mystifying to see it happening?
You're brave keeping shoulder work and tri accessories during smolov jr. Are you going to continue with the accessories into the 3rd week?CSCS

Probably not - I've got Wk 2 Day 4 to do on Monday. Next week I'll be doing *ahem* cardio and bench. Fitness test coming up, my time is slow and I'm putting it down to tired legs. Not sure if anyone has any suggestions on that front?! I may just squat light and do form work. I have such a handbrake running technique as it is (sprinter background - over in 12 seconds...)
I'm deffo taking a week of DLing. Might lift Saturday.

Busy day today - didn't get til sleep until quite late last night but work up naturally nice and early feeling REFRESHED!
Gym split into 2 poss 3 sessions today (perk of it being on my doorstep) - inbetween classes to try and get stuff done
Early AM - Smov Wk2 Day 4
WU
10@20, 25
5@30, 35, 40
MS
10x3@45
Took 40mins total, as I got arrived 10min later than planned I didn't get my run in (would have needed about 15mins for that, but too tight with getting showered changed and ready for class). Middle sets felt awesome - so powerful and light. Last 2 were a bit grindy on the last reps but all one continuous upwards press.
Morning weight (before complete empty... sorry, TMI) - 142.2. Can probably safely say I'm around 142, even with a 4g salt intake yesterday.
Pi$$ing like a race horse and my body is surprisingly tight in the ab department! Done 1.5litres already... another 5 or 6 to go. (This is day 4)
Water intake so far:
Day 1 - 1.4 gals (143)
Day 2 - 1.3ish gals (143)
Day 3 - 1.6 gals (142.6)
Day 4 - Aiming for 1.6min (142.2)
Day 5 - 1/2 gal (Smov Wk3 Day 1)
Day 6 - Minimal - dandelion root + couple of espressos (Luckily I can have a lie in on this day, and will then be very busy and preoccupied!)
Day 7 - Mock Weigh in (Smov Wk3 Day 2 after food)
Weight going down steadily (will check back through log and update Day 1 and 2 weight as I know I was 143ish.... can't remember)

be sure to take some progress pics during your depletion - you will look AWESOME. Everything just tightens up and all the muscles show. Also, when you get to depletion day, TMI but every time you have to pee, it feels like you won the lottery. lol! You run to the bathroom like 'yes! that's got to be at least 5 ounces!!'
I notice the same thing too with smolov's middle sets getting really easy, sometimes the first set or two you feel like you're going to be in for trouble, but then they start flying.CSCS
