    Whats good to eat at night?

    I want to eat something that is higher in protein and lower in carbs to put something in my stomach before I sleep....otherwise I can't fall asleep....any suggestions?

    I get my daily protein from chicken, tuna, and protein shake. But chicken I have to ration just to have enough for post workout meal and protein shake digests too fast, and tuna is quite disgusting....-_-

    eggs are also disgusting

    Thats three posts of words that could have been the food you choose to eat at night.... the **** just be constructive. I don't have any idea what to eat and end up eating cereal...(whole grain) but I have heard protein>carbs for later at night....or am i wrong...

    Depends. I've heard of "carbohydrate capitalization" in which you load up on carbs before bed ie. cereal, jello, ice cream, etc.

    Dunno about that. Usually I'll have eggs and ice cream before bed because I handle carbs just fine so it wont go to fat. If you're heavy set then Id def stay away from any carbs before bed.

    since you dont like eggs or tuna then i guess canned chicken might be a possibility. I've had that n milk before bed too.

    The point everyone else is trying to make that any one food item does not make or break a person's diet. Nearly any combination of food can help you when eaten in the proper portions and combinations.
    Short term Goal: To cut back before bulking like a demon.
    Mid term Goal: To find myself.
    Long term Goal: To get what's mine.

    67 lbs in 9 years and still counting... (started at 100lbs)
