Met my salary requirements, will pay for the entire cost of my move to the new town we will living in and actually this position will be a promotion for me. If I do really well I can be a Director in a year. Best of all, I will not have to work all the time.

Any brahs have experience on Kaiser VS. Blue Shield? Company is giving me an option on these but i have no idea which one I should choose.
Did a little bit of research and found out that Kaiser is all under one roof while Blue Shield you find your own specialists (more choices). Still not sure which to choose though

But the dude collecting money and ID's was this buff black dude. I don't know who was more surprised, him seeing an Asian go a country bar, or me seeing a black dude at a country bar. He was cool though, let me and my peeps in and didn't charge us the cover.

Hmm, haven't had Blue Shield, but when I was a student, I was covered through Kaiser through my mom. IIRC I liked Kaiser because they paid most everything. But I then again, I didn't have a lot of insurance needs. My mom swears by them though. Did your empluer give you a comparative summary sheet of the two?

If it were me, I'd pick the one with the PPO not HMO. Employers like to cut costs and have their own preferred networks to do so. Take the one with the best specialist selections and less specialist restrictions (the best is when you don't even need a referral).

dude I grew up half of my life in the south and been square dancing, two step, etc. in the past and it was fun. Actually last time, it was like my 22nd b-day. Had about 33 of us that went out and had a blast.

Tommy I would prefer Blue Cross/Blue Shield over anyone. After you meet deductible you're golden. I haven't use Kaiser Permanente my former co-workers had them and said they're ok. I had Aetna too and that plan is kinda expensive.

They gave me a separate sheet for each company. I looked skimmed through it and it mainly has charts about how much the co-pay is for whatever it covers. After skimming, it seems like Blue Shield is the one with the PPO. Thanks for the info BB
