    Hardest muscles to gain size?

    Cliffs- Help me understand what muscles gain the fastest.

    Very important to me now that I've finished my body weight training and am getting ready to head to the gym.

    I've just finished measuring myself based off this.

    At 6"0 and a 7" wrist I completed all the measurements and everything matched almost exactly except Chest, Bicep, forearm and neck.



    I haven't begun lifting yet and my only goal is perfect aesthetics, not size. I'm aware these measurements are open for debate but as an artist I know that this ties in very well with the historic concept of beautiful anatomy.

    Question is- Are the areas I need to improve in, the harder groups to build up?

    Thanks for any help and will note to rep useful posts as much as possible.

    HAha, indeed it is! Pushups have added nothing to them, I've gotten a lot stronger though.
    I'm assuming Biceps are easiest muscle to build up?

    chest and bi are the easiest. thats why ***got do them most. easiest way to look like you are strong.

    back and legs are the hardest imo. back is nr1. you can lift 2.5 of your bodyweight for reps and still have a girls back.

    lol i wouldn't worry abotu those calculators buddy, cos:

    1) your body's proportions are genetic, unless you stop training parts completely you will always have the same general look. so for you that looks like tiw ould be big legs, small arms, decent chest..

    2) aesthetics are 90% about muscle bellies and tie ins anyway vs proportions. you could have everything perfectly in proportion according to that calculator and still look like shiet if you had eg crappy chest tie ins, weird flat looking muscle bellies, etc etc.

    I look good ( insertion wise) but no mass

    If I had 30 lbs of pure muscle I would look like a god.

    Thanks, of course, I could match the numbers exactly and still look like flabby dog ****, I don't kid myself though and will be working them hard.
    I have no problem with legs, I seem to be an invert of a lot of peoples proportions so if I don't work the legs as much, but keep up the cardio, this could help? Or I am talking complete ****?
