    C'mon guys, if you are hitting reps, hold your breath when you are exerting then you can get some air. Hitting eight reps you'l pass out without breathing. When I hit 5 rep board press, I do it on one breath though That is years of training

    But if you are hitting say a full rom raw warm-up before you shirt up the weight is easily handled and you can keep your form tight and fast, why not hit them all on one breath?

    My experience shows that once you enter the real world (not high school, not a frosh in college, etc) people stop asking how much guys bench. That really does seem to largely be a high school thing. (outside of a gym setting)
