Prison job...sweet, federal or provincial? I've federal LEO, the PARE isn't hard, but its hard on the lungs, do interval training, sprinting, jumping etc etc. If your really in to getting your best, try and find a push/pull machine somewhere and give it a try, it can be tricky the first time or two.
I've done it around 10 times....best time was 2.47mins! Pass time is 4.00 mins

Thanks! Seems like I'm gonna take a look at this Global Gym and maybe check out the popeyes guy too. Amherst is a little too far away from me tought. I'm not really doing a pure powerlifting program, no chalk or anything but I like doing Deadlifts, Power cleans, Snatch, which many health clubs don't allow or are not friendly.

Good luck buddy, don't worry about the PARE its not that bad but like oldunclehue said if you really push it you def will be winded afterword. Def try the push pull, its not hard or heavy just awkward.
Cool, then Global is prob your best best to the best of my knowledge.
Morning all, another hot and humid day here and i'm stuck inside wearing the hottest uniform imaginable...YUCK!L.E.O.

Happy made up long weekend eveyone. Hope everyone enjoys themselves. Today was especially awesome for me. I completed 5 full extention unassisted pull ups found out Im just above 190 lbs and also was told I have the day off. Life is good.
You may delay, but time will not.
Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task.
Don’t wait for moods. You accomplish nothing if you do that. Your mind must know it has got to get down to work.
Yesterday is a cancelled cheque. Tomorrow is a promissory note. Today is the only cash you have, so spend it wisely.
If you do give up though just think. The sooner I fall behind, the more time I have to catch up.

Tried Crossfit this morning and to be honest I've never felt so drained of my life... Lol! Actually loved it and might actually try a month or two.
Have a nice week end***Canadian Crew***

Went to the doctor today for a physical. He said internally I'm working really well lol. My blood pressure if perfect, and for someone who weighs 315, that's saying something hahaha.

Yikes biking home at 1am...lookin' like that...carry some pepper spray lol!
I don't mind shifts ending at 3AM...but being on call afterwards sucks...especially with a 1 year old boy and wife sleeping at home...phone wakes everyone up!
Killed back and Shoulders with abs today! Back after a back injury...not looking forward to working a set tomorrow!

Hey all haven't been back in this thread for quite some time.
Made it into my first ever competition though finally and had an absolute blast!! Wondering if anyone else in here is from AB and is competition minded at all?? Always looking to bounce ideas off of people and network in the BB world.
In other news, I have officially gotten the opportunity to represent Canada at the World Deaf Beach Volleyball Championships being held in Turkey!!
Between all of this training and school I have been pretty busy, now in my down time I have returned. I hearty hello to my fellow Canucks, and hope everything is treating you a'ightPersonal Trainer and WBFF Pro Classic Physique

Hellooo Thread.
Anyone had the pleasure of working up in Fort McMurray? I want to try to get up there. I have cousins that do it. (Ladies) They work the big trucks at the mines. I know the life is hard & rough. Alcohol & Drugs. I have also heard rumors that some ladies have been raped if they stay at the camps. I would stay in town. I know it's expensive up there too. Shift work is life draining.
I want my hard work to be appreciated. I want to be paid for my 20 hours over time. I want a benefits plan. Do you know if they're unionized? I am willing to get whatever credentials that I need here in Calgary.
I'm still working towards a raw foods business, but I need some serious assets. Also my goals have changed.
______________
Oh Yea, & it has been HAWT here. I have been sleeping when ever I can too. Sometimes during the day. I'm on for another 6, later."Even if the Goals are Never Reached, they Keep the Mind Active & the Body Alive." ~ Me
