I was getting DOMS to the extreme about 2 months ago. They were so bad I was getting cranky. So i started taking creadex and that helped A LOT. Also made my a$$ grow. I stopped taking it, but I'm still not getting the intense DOMS that I was. So glad too, it would take me a week to recover from legs.

You are correct, there will always be a stage. I too felt good about my decision in not doing the Atlantics this year. I thought it would be better to focus on my new job that week instead of training, dieting, dialing in, spending money I did not have to spend and learn a new job....

Exactly. I had nothing to prove, I've done this enough and when I compete again I want to feel confident and prepared, and I just didn't. My heart wasn't in it. So after many tears I stepped back, reevaluated and here I am... Back to building and indulging my bf in training for a 5k.
Seriously?! I have a blog?!

Ugh, allergies are starting here too, at least some rain today kept it a bit dry. I am trying unpasteurized honey as a solution, but will probably resort to the claritin and the reactine soon enough.
For summer prep, almost done the 12 week BSN challenge, although I didn't see too much of a change. Definitely got more muscular/definition, but the weight/body fat percentage didn't really change at all!
So, going to try the Bizzy diet/workouts for the next 3 weeks. More cardio (HIIT) than usual, lighter weights with a lot more reps, and 3 rest days per week. And of course diet, going to work harder to stay on track, with only saturday as cheat day.
Good luck on summer goals ya'll!
