Question about pigeon chest and fat?

Ok I have two seperate questions

    1) people always tell me I have a bird or pigeon chest so I have a pic of a close up on my chest in my profile u guys can see. Is it really a bird or pigeon chest? If so is there any way to get rid of it? Will it effect my working out?

    2) I look skinny with clothes on but I feel I have a decent amount of fat on my stomach. I have a pic of it in my profile for your guys reference and I'm just wondering after u guys look at it should I bulk or cut? Once I lose the fat will I have loose skin or stretch marks?

I'm about 6"1-6"2 145-155 lbs if it matters

    Thank u for any help

Bodybuilding is actually suggested as a means to hide the pigeon chest, but I'm not sure about getting rid of it? surgery may be a possibility but as far as I know its caused because of the protrusion of the ribs, so i don't think there is, I don't believe it effects workouts, try filling in your chest this way it will be less noticeable!

    1. No you can't really do anything about your chest, it's genetics, the only thing is as your chest gets bigger, it will become less noticable and/or no one will care because you have a big chest.
    2. If your 145lbs at 6'2 I definately suggest you bulk.

    its called Pectus Excavatum OP

    look it up.

just workout your pecs hardcore and it will compensate.

BTW you dont even appear to have any type of pigeon chest, looks very mild at the worst.

my friend had that same problem. his sternum/chest bone stuck out way too much. he eventually got surgery because it affected his breathing.

as far as your fat questions go, i would cut down a little bit. your overweight. not by a lot, but if you cut down for a month before you start trying to pack on muscle, you'll have more room to put on the fat you will while bulking. as far as stretch marks go, no. you're not that fat to the point where you would have loose skin and sm. your skin will adapt to natural fat loss to an extent. it's fat removal surgery that leaves people needing a tummy tuck

*yes lifting will help hide your chest. but you will have to work a lot harder at it than someone with a normal sternum
