I have not seen this posted, hopefull not a repost. Johnnie hits a PR or looks to be a PR, with still pretty high volume. I am excited to see him taper off and build the intensity up more and supercompensate, hopefully all will work out. 850 is surely possible if the tapering goes well. A lot can happen when you peak for a powerlifting meet properly.

He had knee problems that why they atrophied. He is doing his best but he is also not as blessed like with traps, back and chest.
However, I havent come across anyone who dooesnt like the guy. He s a monster. So thick, solid and tight plus he is strong as fuark.
His yelling and cursing seems more real to me than Branch's also lolGrainy hardcore religious slabs of thick dense muscle. So grainy that it hurts your eyes

I have a close friend who is unable to get the leg muscles to grow. He suffers from something that a little sloppy translates to "tight/narrow muscle faschia". Roughly explained, you can say that the fascia around his leg muscles are so tight that he can only reach a certain level of muscle volume before the fascia stops the growth(cus it cant expand any further) and the muscle becomes inflamed and sore. He was a very promising bodybuilder until he reached a certain level and found out his legs would not grow past that barrier.
Just a guess..

There are actually ways to get better which involves hours of stretching each day and he did that for about a year without any progression or success. I think he's seen three different doctors/physiotherapists about it and they're all clueless..
edit: "hours" might have been a bit exaggerated but at least a good 30-40 minutes.

I think the leg issue is called genetics fellas. Maybe I'm wrong though.
Anyways, that 820 looked pretty dang easy for him.1708 total @220 Raw
Improve my total every time I step on the platform.
Being a male is a matter of birth. However, being a "man" is a matter of choice.
Photo in Avi is not current, I'm way fatter now.

How do PL meets work? Do you get the opportunity to warm up as much as you want?
We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.

Cracks me up people considering him to break one of the not the greatest powerlifter ever record IMO. Johnnie is a strong bodybuilder, but with mostly his deadlift. He isnt the greatest of either sport, most likely because he wont choose one or the other and too late in his career to know now.
