Just picked this beast up and had some questions.
1. How much is a rack like this worth?
2. Anyone know the brand or model of this rack?

You got a hell of a deal on both the half rack and hacksquat/leg press and just the 6 troy 45lb plates are worth $120
It surprises me how many people refuse to buy equipment from Elitefts because its too expensive but they will buy equipment from their competitors, then continue to go on EFS website to educate themselves for FREE

Thanks for all the replys. I am putting together a studio gym/supplement store and purchasing equipment is new too me. Basically I am looking for all commercial grade stuff at a great price. How did I do on this one? Paid 120 for this paramount seated calf raise. I have looked through tons of threads but was wondering if anyone could give me advice on a nice heavy duty lat pulldown/seated row. Is their a big advantage to the plate loaded machines versus the plate stacks besides ease of changing weight?

I think you did well on that one
As far as Oly plate vs. plate stack: I'd go with plate stack on a pulley system if I were running a public gym. Just a recommendation. The few things that it really matters on are cable crossovers, functional trainers, and any lat pulldown / low row / pulley system. I've seen far too many times people working in with each other, doing supersets, getting a couple quick sets in, etc. For example, someone might be doing a 300 pound lat pulldown, and someone else might be working in doing a 180 pound lat pulldown. That's a fair bit of weight to unload. Or on a cable crossover, very often I'd see two or three guys sharing the unit doing a routine for their chest, and one might be doing 30 pounds, while another might be doing 70, and then another 60. Or sometimes one person would be working in using one of the cable crossover stations for cable curls or tricep pushdowns, and another person would then do their pec cable flies (so again, plate stack is quicker). So for ease of use as far as that goes, I'd say plate stacks are better I think it would ultimately help business, despite an initial higher cost.

Although it will be a private gym with only individual training or small groups I think your completely right. I hadn't thought of that yet and I appreciate you pointing that out for me. I hope I can find a deal on a nice plate stack lat pulldown. I have been on a hot streak with deals so im hoping a nice LP pops up.

Picking up these tomorrow. 5-70 lbs weighing in at about 1300 pounds. I already have 70-90 pounds so this will complete my York dumbbell set until I get enough extra cash to pick up the big dogs. Another incredible deal.
Is there a way to change the name of this thread? This thread quickly is turning into my "studio gym progress" thread.Nothing is impossible.

What did you give for those?
When you're ready to get the bigger ones..... don't forget to give Allison a shout out. I told you about her in pm the other day. I seriously doubt you're going to have an easy time finding >100lb yorks used (you can, but it will take time, don't get me wrong)....so definitely give her an email. She'll almost definitely save you money.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #4 ▪█─────█▪

The Rack is getting bolted down tomorrow. I have no knowledge of how to do it but a contractor is doing it for me. Once bolted down how much weight would you guess it could handle. The guy I bought it from was a former competitive power lifter so I am guessing quite a bit.

bolting it down will be easy they'll drill a hole in your floor and drop a red head into the hole through the rack crank it tight and there you go. At that point I think it will handle quite a bit. I have no real weight figure since I have no idea of the thickness of the steel and lack an engineering degree but it looks heavy duty and I don't imagine you will be breaking it unless you decide to use it to hold up the front of your truck.

No plans of doing anything with a truck on this rack. Anyone have any recommendations for an affordable durable paint to paint the walls with. I want to get that taken care of before I start bolting down equipment. Whats every ones thoughts on a bright red on one or some of the walls? The gym will be in the back of a Nutrition store that ends in X and on our logo, the X is bright red so I was thinking about keeping a common theme.
View from the back of gym facing towards the partition that divides the Supplement store and the gym. 28 wide X 36 deep.
Nothing is impossible.

Well if it sucks I will just throw it back on craigslist and hope to get my money back. I bought an adjustable utility bench, olympic barbell, and about 600 pounds of plates in the deal so it wont be a total loss. I rearranged equipment and freed up a ton of space. This will leave me with about 20 feet of space on that leg equipment wall and the TKO heavy bag mount in the corner whenever it comes off backorder.
Nothing is impossible.
