    Recomp on XFA

    Quick question here..

When trying to recomp on XFA instead of bulking, what should my calorie intake be compared to my maintenance intake. With the strong nutrient partitioning of the XFA I want to eat as much as I can to stimulate growth without putting on too much fat (obvious, i know)..

When cutting, I consume about 2800 to 3000 and bulk at 4000.. I was thinking I would probably consume 3500 on busy days and about 3300 on days that I feel my NERT is a little lower..

    Thanks for the help!

Without extensive knowledge of your body, it seems like roughly 3500 kcals would be your sweet spot.

Unless you are a complete noob, "recomping" is a nothing more than a pipe dream. If you don't over eat you aren't likely to gain crap, if you don't diet you aren't likely to lose fat.

quoted for the opposite of the truth.

Many (most) X-Factor users report leaning out in the mid section while filling out their muscle bellies and increasing glycogen storage and gaining weight at fairly rapid rates.

I am certain (scale and BF %) that both times I used XF, my body fat went down and my weight went up....

I've said this at least 50 times on this board...maybe I am just a super-respnder at ArA, but there isn't anything non-hormonal on the market that comes close what I have seen with ArA...

if I wasn't completely broke, I'd be on it again right now like the previous two winters...

    Thanks for the help..

I would easily say that I attribute alot of my strength gains to XFA. Without a doubt I have eaten way over maintenance and barely gained any fat, but definitely loads of muscle and strength.

Hopefully my second run will be just as effective as the first!

i used xfa on a recomp and i gained no single pound of muscles. on the other side i didn't lose a sngle pound of BodyFat. will give XFA a new try on a bulk hoping to get better results. but to be honest recomping is a thing that i don't belive in.

my diet was approx. 2500-2800 cals per day, at least 200g protein/day but only approx. 100g of carbs. dosing was 5 caps on workout days and 2 caps on rest days. stretched 2 bottles of xfa to 10 weeks. i took gg and lclt along with the xfa and avoided omega-3 during the run

Damm everything sounds spot on, unfortunately supps work different for everybody and some don't quite get the results others do. That looks identical to my contest prep run with XF except my protein was around 300+(I weighed 240)

wouldn't say that XFA doesn't work, i HAD strength gains during the run and muscles look fuller but unfortunately i couldn't hold these gains. but i WILL try it once again on a nice bulk with a whole**** of carbs along. for ME personally i had besser results on test boosters but as you say everyone is different.

We appreciate your feedback, as Jeff said, everybody responds differently to supplements. Im sorry to hear it didnt work better for you, maybe being such a great responder to test boosters you will be interested to look into Test Factor at some point in time (co formulted by Shawn Wells i.e. Ultima and William Llewellyn).
