i finally hit 200lbs @ 5'7

i was a former powerlifter similar to babyslayer on these forums so i have always been big. I just went on a 6 month cut, then bulked for 2 months then cut for 5 more months to get very lean. most contest preps are around 24 weeks anyways.

With that long fukkin cut you went on, I'd imagine you lost a fair amount of mass and strength?

I'm probably 15% fat, might end up near 17% by the time March comes around. I don't want to shredded, just hover around 8-10%. Just unsure on how to go about it. I've done a cut before and it went really bad lol. Cut for a month and lost 15lbs ..

My biggest worry, is I don't know how to cut efficiently, so I will keep my strength and muscle mass gained whilst bulking. I don't mind adding the extra fat, for now atleast if it will able me to gain deccent strength and mass, aslong as I can keep it.


My plan at the moment, is to bulk up until March. Then I want to slow cut, until june/july.

no offense brah but if you have been lifting for 5 years those lifts are pretty bad. You are at a good size for your years training tho. I can already do 225 for that many reps but i have been seriously lifting for less than 2 years
