    Question about adjustable dumbbells

I'm in the market for a set of dumbbells but I'd like the adjustable kind.
    Like powerblock.
What other companies would you suggest so I can research them?

I'm looking for a set that goes upwards of 60+lbs and can adjust on the fly.

    Thanx!

Hampton makes a really nice set of adjustable handles in 14 or 16. The use the same grip that their pro style db uses.

If you have any questions Hampton will return your email within the same day.

If your wanting something special length wise, its not hard to make up very nice handles out of cold rolled steel. I posted a blurb about it in an older post. Its very easy and inexpensive.

For collars its hard to go wrong with the CL-1/4 from Ivanko. Collars are a huge safety issue, as you have to have a secure yet quick to change collar to make the most of the bars.

This is a link, but its actually a little faster to deal with a dealer that to deal direct with Ivanko. They hardly ever return emails, even when your trying to order. The quality makes it worth the PITA though.

Thanx gang! The wife and I are heading out to look at some sets today. We have a few sporting goods places to check and 1 specialty retailer in our area.
Its where we bought my wifes Ab Core Jr. She has a bad back so it was the only thing she could do to help her strengthen that lower back of hers.

    Thanx for the replies!
