    Does Planet Fitness have squat racks and tricep pull downs?

    im looking for a cheap gym that im only going to use like 2 times a week for certain exercises because i already have alot of stuff in my home gym

    i dont squat because i have no rack but i wanna start. my triceps could use some work and i love the pull downs.....so overall does Planet Fitness offer those things?

    You'll have to check your local Planet Fitness, but a co-worker of mine goes to the one in Alexandria, VA and says they only have a smith machine for squats/bench.

    And yes, I make fun of him endlessly for going to PF.

    NO, first of they don't have Squat racks, just a ton of smiths because they don't want your grandmother snapping her back. And they won't kick you out for being big, the higher ups will just talk a ton of **** about you behind your back.

    Also, this gym is a god damn joke as is the people who own them. I was recently let go from there as the club manager of one of the gyms in MA, and for the ****tiest reason. One of our members is a bodybuilder, coolest dude though, would just sit around and shoot the **** and NOT BOTHER ANYONE. My regional manager saw him and told me to kick him out, told her no because why kick someone out when no one has a problem with him? Instead that bitch threw me out, **** it.

    I will say though, going to the meetings in NH, they have a lot of idsmash/10 from Michigan and Texas who manage clubs.

    becuase the would would split....that squat machine isnt even African standard id rather not squat.

    is it possible to take like 80lbs on a barbell and squat with that with no rack and still see results?

    Yeah that's what the trainer and I did. We'd put the barbell on the opposite side of the bench and use that as a ghetto squat rack.

    Interesting. One of my boys moved to the Knife a few years ago. I'm quite surprised they'd have a PF there. I don't even think there's a PF in the GTA and it's a much bigger market (of fat useless people who don't even lift).

    The answer to your question either way is no. PF wont allow you to do the kind of weight you need to really see decent results and build size/strength, which I assume is your end goal.

    Back to basics bro. If you're trying to build size/strength, you have to up the weight. Doing 100 reps with 80 lbs is like doing the shake weight. Yeah, you'll be tired, but you wont get massive, and I can't envision that making you really strong. It's not much of a challenge for anyone's body to have to adjust to. You'll be like those girls who sit there and curl 5 lbs because "they don't want to get big" and never even get into shape to begin with.

    it is very possible. high intensity + pre exhausting the muscles with other work and you will be doing like 15 reps max if you focus on squeezing. even doing 2-4 second negatives.
