I'm planning on having a big workout tonight, but i've got a big day tomorrow so i don't want to be sore for it.

This is so simple: ZYZZNO: you are only 15 years old, and have shown remarkable progress: do you think one "easy" workout, in the course of your lifetime, is going to derail you?? lol....
in other words, just take it a little lighter for one day...do a few less sets...don't max out....don't fail.......
one speck, one iota in your lifetime.....and you will be fine for your big day....Lift as MUCH as you can, for as MANY reps as you can,
while in complete control of the exercise.
