he'll lose weight alright, but he won't be shredded. everyone's body naturally has a % of bodyfat it 'like' to sit at. for ecto/meso, this % is quite low, and they can easily stay ripped as they bulk up. but if you are naturally sitting at 15%-20% bodyfat, gonna be very very hard to get shredded naturally.. no matter hwo hard you try to cut you will end up losing as much muscle as fat so you just shrink into a 'smaller' version of yourself.

Just keep lowering calories till you lose weight, it will happen.
However, if your 15, unless youre obese, you need to be bulking. Huge gains will come your wayAnalytical chemist, feel free to PM me chemistry questions. If its lower level chemistry, pretty good chance I've forgotten how to do it though.

dont cut at 15. just eat CLEAN, be very active, and try and make strength gains in the gym on your heavy compounds.
dont try and hit a caloric deficit at 15, you are still growing and from now until your early 20's you will have optimal hormone levels (which can be wrecked if you put your body in a starved state).
eat lots of meat, complex carbs, veggies, good fats. stay away from fast foods and crap food. dont drink (obviously).
play a sport every season at your highschoolfriends of the guys now

Its really trial and error. I cut at 1700 calories a day (Im currently 178, trying to hit 173) and thats right at 2 lbs a week for me. Make sure your weighing yourself in the same condition each week. If you have a big carb dinner the night before you weigh in one week, try and do the exact same the next week (not advocating high carb dinners, but you get my point). Could be water weight fuking you over, and you are losing weight.
