Hey guys hope everybody is doing well and in shape..lol well it occured to me I ran after of post workout protein and we all should by now know the benefits of protein and its daily use as a staple to a bodybuilder..my mass gainer gave my my muscle mass, but too much fat and calories so that being said I looked up lean mass protein supplements on here(you guy's forum boards are hella helpful,by the way, thanks!)i came down to a personal conclusion,im really digging BSN's true mass, but at the same time ive heard alot of ruckus being made from Syntha-6.yes,i am on a reduced calorie diet, drinking water by the gallons daily(1 1/2 gallons almost!)and I lift almost 2x's a day and I do workout my entire body during a weeks time and I do so every week.and lets just say cardio is not a problem.any feedback on which is best?or any other better proteins witg low calories and high protein?once again, thanks so much!-doo wop d

Low calories and high protein while looking to gain? Those goals seem quite contradictory. Anyway, Up Your Mass has worked best for me. 8 lbs in 31/2 months, mostly lean gains. I wouldn't recommend it as an immediate post workout shake because it doesn't get absorbed as fast - I use gold standard for that.

OP be on the lookout for some products by Scivation after the New Years. There will be a post workout as well as a mass gainer. The gainer is quite unique from anything on the market and the profile is loaded with quality sources to fill in the p/f/c. Its designed to put on lean mass not fat like most on the market filled with sugar and unnecessary ingredients.
While making your own is very good, the convenience of having a quality gainer when on the run or what not is a great addition. Instead of having to opt for lower quality food choices, slam our new gainer and your meal will be satisfied.

honestly calories from a mass gainer = more expensive food calories, no reason not to just eat more. Learn to love the peanut butter jar.
However, a well formulated post workout could do wonders for your recovery and decrease your out-of-gym time, allowing you to get more workouts in and, therefore, GROW more.
Check out ErgoGenix Aftermath. It comes in convenient single serving packets, and the blue raspberry is delicious: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/er...fter-math.htmlPicking things up and putting them down since '09
