A little history…if you don’t care, skip to the bottom.
Back in Aug of 2011 I my left arm started to go numb, 4 days later after my shoulder and elbow went numb I decided to go to the doc. They prescribed me some steroids for nerve damage. After playing a kickball tournament my right knee started to give out. I figured it was due to sprinting the bases all day (we won BTW ) After a couple days I started dropping everything I grabbed and had to use a cane to walk. Couple MRI’s later I was assumed to have M.S. After my legs and arms started to feel better I received double vision, my mood changed, and I was slightly depressed. I still had a good attitude but was just in a blah state of mind.
After many tests I was Dxed with MS. I still have mixed feelings if I have MS as there are so many things I could have but Im just happy to feel 90% normal. I start my meds roughly 2 weeks ago.
I was told I have 16 lesions in my brain, possible some in my lower back. I still have not gotten a MRI of my back yet.
The only thing that I’m really disappointed in was my strength went way way down! You could see my right arm was A LOT smaller then my left. If you look at my body space I was entered into the 12 week transformation contest. I was getting stronger and losing weight. I was down to 189 lbs when this happened. Now im at 205 and have less strength then when I started the contest
I only blame my self as I could have stayed 190 but I was in a, “who gives a crap” mood.
I want to change this and try to become stronger and thinner again. After talking to people and researching I should have at least 5 years before I have too many issues with my M.S. I could never have an issue again or I could be a gimp by next year. You never know with this disease.
The only issues I have right now is I seem sensitive to certain lights, kind of brain foggy (sometimes) and my hands seem tired and wore out all the time. Hopefully this goes away.
Anyways enough with my talking, here is what im going to do about it!
First Diet! Then excersise.
Im going to do a lower carb diet but nothing extreme. Maybe some oatmeal in the morning and a slice of wheat bread or pasta for dinner after working out in the evenings.
Im going to try to stay around 1800-2300 cals a day
Vitamins and supps
Protein – Mix of whey and blends
Green Mag
Vit D
Vit B
Vit C
Multi
Calcium
Fish oil
Meds
I’ll post what I eat most days and what workouts Im doing.
Im starting stats
205lbs
Lower 20s BF%
I’ll take body measurements every month starting tonight.
Hopefully I can get skinny before my next episode so I can start to bulk by spring time.

Yesterday was
pizza (small portion)
Wheat bread with hamburger and cheese
I am not feeling well so I didn't eat a whole lot
Work out
Arms - Nothing crazy just curls, tris, some excersises where I hold the weight at curtain angles to help with endurance.
Protein shake - Didn't drink but maybe 20 grams of the 50 I mixed....made me feel really sick
