I remember reading or maybe hearing somewhere that Jay often just doesnt want to eat but since he has to maintain the muscle mass he forces himself. He also said he doesnt like fish, but since its good for him, he just shovels it down his throat.
His face in some of those pictures just says 'FFS I dont feel like eating'. Having to consume so much food per day i can imagine grows old pretty quick.
