Stretch marks more visible with weight loss?

So within the first 2 weeks of my deployment oversees i lost about 10lbs. Despite the weight loss, the stretch marks on my stomach(from pregnancy) seem even more visible. Can anyone explain this to me please? And will they become less visible as i continue to lose weight and tighten up or become more visible? I know i cant get them to completely disappear and i know many body builders have them as well but you can never see them!!! Is there a secret to hidin them that i dont know about?

It's probably something you notice more than anyone else. If you get toned up I doubt anyone is gonna be complaining about some stretch marks. But I'm guessing they'll fade with time more than anything else.

I saw the same problem with weight loss. Hell, from as big as I was, there are still many that are visible. Only recently (the past 6 months, and being here in Iraq) have I seen some start to fade. The skin is a living organ in itself. It, just like any part of the body, takes time to heal and repair. While lotions and creams all claim to be miracle workers, this really isn't the case. All these lotions are doing is helping push vitamin E into your system, ensuring your skin has an abundance for as it repairs itself.

Its a long process... very long. But over time, they should begin to fade away. Hope this helps.
