    Do you workout your Forearms?

    I'm not talking about the stress they get from regular exercises but actually doing exercises that target them.

    Such as reverse curls, wrist curls, plate pinches?

    Just wondering because mine are lagging and I'm thinking about adding them into my routine. Big forearms are alpha.

    I do reverse and wrist curls

    But my forearms dont seem to grow regardless..

    i do hammer curls, they make my forearms all veiny and pumped.

    I dont know if that counts though, i just like that feel.

    Hmmmm I've heard that forearms are like calves and that they're completely genetic. Only time I noticed my forearms getting bigger was when I put on 35lbs.

    use to have 8" forearms couple years ago; now 11". but they grew probably cause of just plain 'ol growing up. should really train them more. feelssmallman.jpg =(

    They grow very slow but you have to be consistent. I have increase my forearms from 12 inches at start to almost 14.5 now. My routine is usually like this:

    Behind the back forearm curls 4 sets
    Spindle 4 sets
    Heavy grips 8 sets

    And then on arm day I usually do reverse curls for a few sets.

    And people who say they do not do forearms because they "get hit on back, leg" etc day are just lazy. Get it done.

    I do, mostly because I hate mixed grip on deadlifts and I don't have straps. Big forearms with high insertion biceps can look a bit odd though.

    Try grabbing some heavy dumbbells 90+ lbs and holding them as long as you can. Try for like a minute or so, your forearms should be on fire.

    I've just started doing reverse curls this past week. I'll superset heavy cable curls with light reverse curls Monday and Friday. Wednesday I'll switch it to heavy reverse curls with light cable curls. Feels pumped man.
