    Background

I believe I can bring a slightly older perspective to this review.

I found my way back to the gym two years ago after almost being killed in a bad accident. Left with a broken neck and a brain injury, I had 12 weeks to ponder what I wanted out of life. In my 20's I was 200lbs at 5'9" natural life time lifter with a 600' DL. In my mid 30's, I was a out of shape at 195 not having lifted in 10 years.

I decided that when cleared, I would re-dedicate myself and return to my roots. After 12 weeks of recovery, I withered away to 170lbs. On my return in 09 I put on almost 20 lbs in just a few months. Within four months, I was back at 200lbs and deadlifting over 500 again. (a goal that I made to myself while my neck was broken)

    Life was good!

    Fast track to early 2010....

On a routine scan, they discovered a tumor in my wife's pelvis. They initially believed it was sarcoma. but we got the good news that it was a benign tumor. Bad news....it had to come out.

To say the least, this distracted me considerably from my gym goals. I basically ended up taking about another year out.

New Year 2011. Life is once again good. Wife healed and healthy, and I was ready to go. I first eased my way back in a few times a week. Just tried to clean up my diet a little.

Then in Feb, I went hard-core again! This time with an approach like I have never done before. My strategy is the culmination of all that I know that has and has not worked for me over the years.

My diet in check, I first cut.

Now I am on a quest for mass

Whey is a HUGE staple for me. Vanilla is one of my key flavors. I would love the opportunity to review and possibly discover a new key component to my supplement arsenal!
