I love the convenience of having information at my fingertips, but the ability to socialize has degraded so much. Its not just guys but girls too. People are absorbed in their phones, wont even say hello to you. I mean I see the difference in my social skills just when I look at myself compared to my older sibling who's a 90s kid. The internet was just starting out in the 90s, and people weren't as glued to it as they are now. I bet the epidemic of college aged virgins would go down dramatically if we had less access to the internet. Most people dont even know how to interact with a chick, let alone get in their pants

TFW when you had to call a girls landline, and speak to their parents or brother/sister before getting them on the phone.
TFW when picking a girl up on a date, you had to go ring their front door - and make awkward conversation with their parents.
Oh lawd, cant imagine kids having the balls to do that anymore.

Hopefully this thread doesn't become a debate about what counts as a 90s kid. But I feel like people born in the early 90s were the last to have childhoods where you were forced to go outside to meet up/chill with friends. People born mid 90s and on words lived in a time where cell phones/social media widely used before they were teens and didn't get those feels. You know, walking/biking to your friends house to ask if they could play and shiet.

Its so fuking wierd. I dont see very many kids outside playing in the summer anymore, very few kids riding bikes or playing soccer/basketball at the school I live near. In the winter I hardly see any snow forts or snowmen. No kids outside in 15 layers of clothes playing in the snow. What do 4-12 year olds do now? Is it all just ipads/computers/smart phones all childhood now?
being a young kid in the 90's was awesome.
