They used to use 2 or 3 dogs back in the day of animal baiting, so 10 all at once (if the dogs didn't fight each other) would mean using old times as the only real measure that 10 would be too many

aware.. when i play with him he does the lock and shake, i am like fuark, so glad thats not my hand or leg. ive seen his vicious side before but when hes chillin, hes a nice guy. and no their jaws dont literally lock, the muscles are so strong in their jaw, that its virtually impossible to get out of.

to the people saying the lion just think about this. 1 lion cornered by 10 (1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10) pit bulls. even if only half of them attack at once, the lion will only be able to fend off one, while the other 4 bite it (all in different places). after those 5 are done, the next 5 will approach the injured lion with 4 bite wounds...

I honestly think that 10 APBT would be able to take down a lion. The pack drive of the group, plus the natural athleticism of the breed would make this a ridiculous battle for the lion. APBTs have an incredible amount of energy, strength, drive, and general tenacity about them.

It isn't like the APBTs would just line up for a 1v1 battle. They would encircle and distract and attack as soon as they saw an opening.
