Gabe you definitely look like your going through a really nice body comp change. I thought both sets of pics looked solid. You guys have done an outstanding job. No changes for either of you. Gabe if you feel you can take a better set of pics, then re shoot them and I'll take a look.
Lets get to work

HRT Contest Feedback as per Tom's check-in
This contest has been one of the coolest things that I've ever been able to be a part of. I don't want to sound like I'm trying to kiss ass, but it's just the truth. The best part for me was the opportunity to actually work with and get feedback from actual Animal pros and reps (maybe those two are the same thing, but I'm still learning the terminology). It's not common that amateur bodybuilders and fans, like all of us, get a chance to bounce our ideas off the guys from ads and shows that we see all the time. I think it's really cool how Animal connected with us throughout this entire thing. That's what blows me away the most. I feel like all of us got our own 1-on-1 individual advice throughout this thing, and that's pretty incredible. It's s**t like this that connects the pros with the fans and now we are all bros. Cheesy as that sounds. Yeah the check-ins and pics, and logs, were a lot of work, but its really cool to see Tom doing it himself. We're all in this boat together. The program is pretty badass, and I really am finding it hard to think of anything to complain about (I'd love to offer constructive criticism, but I seriously got nothin). I've had to buy new shirts due to growing out of the old ones, which is a quality problem in my book. I've always been the small kid, and I feel like HRT has busted me through that and I don't get that from people anymore. It was a really awesome thing to do for the fans. See you guys at the Arnold.

i just want to take some time and say thank you to Animal, Rage, DaEclipse and all the reps and everyone for making this contest possible. HRT has been a great program and i found it really helped me to change my body over the span of the last 12 weeks, hopefully come monday and then on the announcement day in march team 5 can come up champs but regardless of the final decision i can honestly say this has been one hell of an experience. My father tells me constantly, that nothing worth achieving comes easy, he lives this testament everyday being a police officer with joint, back and wrist pain. He pushes himself harder than anyone i know, past the point of no return and still comes out on top i hope that this contest has allowed me to emulate his work ethic. HRT is something i will def go back too in the future, for now after our final session on monday i am definitely gonna need a break off of it, but the methods and the training, the diet and the mentality i will carry with no matter program i do. Thanks again Rage, your a really badass coach to have and you pushed us hard and its hard to do that when ur not even there in person but your dedication to the 12 weeks in hell was just as much as ours if not more at times and i know we all really appreciate it.

Just a lil something on what hell raiser has done for me. Having Rage to turn to and ask questions was a huge deal for me. I feel like I was way less knowledgable than most guys in this contest just threw reading threads. So this has helped me a great deal. As gabe said in the beginning I was the guy that would start a program, see results and the call it quits. I didnt want to piss this oppurtunity away. Being an severe asthmatic, Ezcema, father of 2 boys (4 and 13), husband, or a chef at the best restuarant in town wasnt gonna be my excuse. The diet was a whole new thing for me but made me realize how important it was. Getting up and going to the gym and doing the workout was the fun part. The logging, eating and vids seemed a bit much at times but glad we did it to look back and see the gains and such. This program has really helped my eating decisions. Being a chef Id just grab a bit here and there when I could. Id get home from a long day and throw back some beers. More on days off but since the start of hrt ive really turned this around. So being the oldest guy in the team comp I feel like I had something to prove. Overall Im happy with my results and will use this program again. So before I go just wanted to say thanks to all who made this possible, Universal reps, Dead, Da Eclipse and all others. 2 big thanks.... one to rage, im sure i asked questions that seemed rookieish lol but i appreciate it. Last but not least thanks to my teammate, friend and 1 of 6 younger brothers Gabe. Our team dymanic was our drive in itself. We didnt have to pump each other up. Not wanting to let your own brother down was our drive. Weve done the work and such and the decision is no longer in our hands. Wish we could be at the Arnold but we cant so best of luck to all!!

HRT Contest Follow-Up
I am very grateful to have been given this opportunity, and am incredibly proud to be a part of the spreading of the HRT program. Prior to partaking in HRT, I had been experimenting with various training styles (sometimes with Ross, and sometimes solo), but HRT was the longest program I ran, and also the most challenging. HRT requires a level of discipline in both the diet and recovery aspects that is significantly more important to utilize than in other training styles I have tried. I am grateful that those aspects of the program were outlined in such detail in the initial publication on bodybuilding.com. Being somewhat of a technical nerd, I also really enjoyed reading about the science of the program, explained in detail by Tom and Mike Palmieri. I have seen a body composition change through HRT that I have never witnessed before in myself. I have dropped to a low weigh that I have never before been at, and my muscle look visibly more pronounced and more defined than ever before.
Being able to work directly with Tom, DaEclipse, and the Universal Reps (NaturalGuy, MrDead, G Diesel, etc), was something I felt was very beneficial. Being able to bounce ideas off of them was a very unique experience, and I am very grateful for that. I am sure that overlooking our material on the forusm took as much time and effort as us doing it, so I very much appreciate that. Animal was very generous with the supplements, something else that really impressed me right from the start. I don't know any other company that says, "Here's an expensive stack (twice), now do our program while the pro's guide you." Animal's eagerness to connect with the fans on that level is very unique and I look forward to meeting each one of you at the Arnold.Last edited by CaptSpaulding; 02-24-2012 at 07:25 AM. This is it!
Wow. I can't believe today we will workout legs for the last time. This is crazy. At the beginning I thought this would be impossible. The pain was overwhelming and I never thought we would he even close to the end. Not only has the results been awesome but it has taught me do much. Not in a weird way but it has brought Matt and I through more than we expected. I know now that the impossible is possible with teamwork and perseverance. I am so glad we had this opportunity. No matter who the winner is, I can say that all of us in the deal have won. Results have been incredible. Just want to say thanks to everyone from Universal, Bodybuilding, and other team members for the awesome support and encouragement. Thanks everyone!!
Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

Rioshowtimes final thoughts likes,dislikes etc
Well folks 1st i wanna say (again) thanx everyone for the love, encouragement and knowledge!!!
This program humbled me in many ways, like etching in my brain that its not about the weight. Its about patience and hard work.its about mind muscle connection, making the most of everything you can.
Things i have noticed since starting hrt
1. Definition
2.better muscle shape
3.strength increase
4.power
5.endurance
things i liked about the stack
1. Recovery was awesome
2.i had achey knees before using flex but eventually flex came thru and kept my joints moving freely
3.using,rage,creatine and pak made between set recovery fast!
4. My barber told me...whatever vitamin your taking has your hair growing down ur neck like a wolf.lol
main thing i loved about the program
1. The one on one support, the patience, the dedication, and the possitive environment around here!!!!!!
Dislikes
1. I know this program is low volume high intensity, but i think my legs do better with high volume.idk
2.cardio,but i know it has to be done
3.diet only because it really costs to keep up and we really had it hard financially.
I remember when rage 1st cut my carbs,i was disgusted.lol i shrunk sooo fast i hated how puny i looked. But i trusted him and stuck to it,and in no time i was getting buffed up but with less fluff and fat.lolTHE OFFICIAL FEMALE FREAK OF NATURE

Shout out to Rage and the Animal crew for giving us the opportunity to participate in this contest.
The contest was a ride. I had no idea what to expect, nor did I have any clue in the slightest what I was getting myself into. I was skeptical of the routine at first, but my skepticism quickly turned to shock. From struggling with 135lbs on the flat barbell bench press for 8 reps +4 hell-centrics, to now being able to hit 225 for 8+4hc, the gains I made in this contest are astounding.
The best aspect of this routine is definitely the strength aspect. I gained a TON of strength, which in turn tore up my muscles and allowed them to repair and grow quite rapidly. The amount of size and strength that I have put on during these 12 weeks is incredible. My vascularity is outstanding, and I've been getting a ton of compliments in the gym.
I would just like to apologize for my hints of inactivity at the tail end of the contest. School has been taking a lot of my time up, as well with managing the largest fraternity on campus and balancing out my class and lifting schedule along with Jeff's. I'm glad that I had Jeff there to keep me motivated and light a fire under my ass when I was slacking. Not a Driven Sports representative, idiots.

Wow! It's crazy to finally be at the end of this journey through Hell. Starting out I thought it was going to take forever but man how it flew by. I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to participate in this. When I found HRT I had been looking to get into some negative training and voila, the answer to my prayers. It also happened in a rather hectic point in my life. I was having some personal issues and had to move in with ChefDBIG to help get me back on my feet. As much as him providing a place for me to go and the support he and his wife gave me, HRT did the same. Participating in this program helped me keep my mind in a positive place and didn't allow me to mope around feeling sorry for myself. The program, and Dennis right there with me, helped keep me focused on myself and the things I love to do.
The program itself was very different from anything I've done and very intense. My muscles, I think, are now so used to that applied pressure that I don't know how a regular workout will feel. I've gained a decent amount weight but didn't really add inches to my measurements. I believe that this program helped me to make my muscles more solid and strong. The eating on this program starting off and absolutely ridiculous. However after getting used to it I don't think my body will be going back to the way I used to eat. I am going to miss those Hellcentrics for a while!
The competition itself was nice motivation to go even harder and push even more. It helped to keep you accountable for your actions in and outside of the gym. I'm not gonna lie...but there were times that I thought Rage was being a little too lenient, but maybe I'm just an *******! Lol. I really enjoyed Rage being available practically anytime. Also having the bodybuilders drop in your thread to say hey and/or answer questions was pretty effin motivating and awesome. Being chosen to participate in the contest was one thing, but it was pretty cool to be supplemented throughout the process. Here...try this program...here have these supplements. All we had to do was bust ass in the gym and BAM! Results! Shweet!
Overall I think this program helped me take my training and knowledge of training to new heights. It's opened my eyes on what MY body can do and how far it will go. It's made me look at what I eat and think, "Man thats alot of food but I ain't even getting fat! FUEL UP!" I can now move forward with my own training and take it to a place that i've been wanting to go. I believe this couldn't have happened at a more perfect time for me. So thanks to Rage, to Animal, to Univesral and their reps, to my partner Dennis, to the teams, and to everyone else who was a part of the journey. For me it's been really amazing and I am proud to have made it and I am very very happy with my results! *fingers crossed*
