Good news!
So you decided to challenge your back by doing the heavy leg presses 
Strong dips again and I like the reverse rows --- great way to hit the lats, bis and serratus without risking jigging the back with the BO BB variety!

Yes, I have tried Sumo. I may give it a go in a month. I think one of the problems is extra weight on the spine so this might not be a good idea either for awhile. Not sure.

Actually, the pain isn't so bad normally.
Found out that rapid pelvic movement over the period of 30mins will cause much soreness though.

That's bad luck, although pretty much everyone has lumbar disc bulges if you look. The main thing is that the pain doesn't run down into the leg......if it stays localised then it should heal with a bit of care.
