    How do I know I'm eating 6 ounces of chicken breast or fish?

    Fish / Seafood

    6oz serving of most seafood contains around 40 grams of protein.

    Chicken

    6oz of chicken breast contains about 55 grams of protein.

    How do I know I'm eating a 6 ounces of chicken or fish? Do I have to weigh it raw or weigh it when it's fully cooked? And what kind of scale do I use? Help please!

    just eat da chicken. dun worry about if its raw or cooked or half cooked or w/e.
    look @ nutritional table. memorise it. then just cook and eat. simple as that. no need to go so in depth and hardcore about things that don't matter much

    found a post that said; a little bigger then the palm of your hand and as thick as your fingers is 6 oz.
    otherwise read the packaging when possible

    Above poster is right.

    6 oz of chicken or fish isnt very much, most restaurants will serve a 6oz fish as a lunch plate or for a sandwich. All fish and filets are diffrent though, it depends on the thickness, length has no bearing.

    bro you can always buy a food scale at target or wal mart... and you can look up the stats for both cooked and raw breast.

    it DOES matter. every calorie counts when you're trying to hit your macros. But i mean if you're bulking... you don't have to be too careful.

    know this, the more accurate you are and the more you know about how much your caloric and macronutrient intake is, then the easier it is to make adjustments and figure out what you need to bulk or cut at an optimal rate.

    I wouldn't worry about it... the teen section is already accurate to +-1000 cals.
