I have a total Love/Hate relationship with that shirt. I did my first Powerlifting Meet Oct 29. With the Katana I got 275# for my third attempt. It was a size 46...I weigh 165#. Last night was the first time in a shirt since that meet, I used a size 44 Katana. BARELY touched 255...missing 265 and 275. I can bench 250 raw (I have done it on more than once. It's not one of those max, max...did it once, and never again numbers)...and have a hell of a time doing it in a shirt!!

The 46 is big on me. The 44 I wore last night cut/marked up the back of my arms bad. The hardest part about touching is the pain from the shirt cutting in! So my thoughts were: use the 46, I did the meet. Now I am working with the 44. Then IF I can get into a 42! Plans are to do a USAPL meet at the end of Jan

right...but you're a 165lb lifter. the titan sizing chart recommends a 40, and the chart is notorious for recommending loose fitting gear.
so a 44 even if its bruising your arms (which literally all bench shirt do and is not a marker of whether its tight or not) is at least 2 sizes too big for you.
you should not be attempting to touch weights that you can lift raw.*Mods/CS will not, nor can they change your username, so don't ask*

you have a 40" chest and 15.5" arms. you could use a size 42 shirt as a somewhat loose fit and still fare much better.
who cares if the 44 leaves cuts and there's some pain with the shirt cutting on you? don't be a bitch, you are wasting your time with gear if you're only getting 25-30 lbs out of a $175 shirt. maybe you should stay raw.Elite Raw Powerlifter

Isaku, do you think a size 48 Super Katana would be a good fit for me? I currently use a second-hand old and stretched out regular 48 and it takes around 520 to consistently touch a 1 board. I usually weigh in at 242 and compete/ train at 250. Chest measure 48 relaxed and arms 18.5-19 flexed.
