First of all, I have been having a lot of personal issues so I haven't been here a lot lately. So, hi everyone.
this is what Dave Palumbo said on RX forums on 11.29.2011
"I heard that he's looking to drop massive amounts of muscle............he's already down to 250's......... I hear he's got a more mainstream project in the works......and I hear he's done competing for good! My sources also tell me that his torn biceps has not been fixed (and Jay has no intention on fixing it since he'll no longer be competing). "
I also heard that Jay Cutler's Muscletech contract was up on 12.01.2011 and they did not renew the contract.
"Training video just posted on Jay's ********. Said he is eating less training lighter trying to come down in size and loose some muscle because he has something planned!" - this is someone from their forum.
"I talked to a person who knows Jay and, from what I understand, the surgery is pretty complicated because they have to go thru the shoulder to reattach the tendon. This is different than when the bicep is torn on the other end. It might take a couple months to heal and that would cut into his prep time for the Olympia. " John Hansen - Natural Mr.O
What do you guys think? Is an era over completely? Thoughts?

I honestly doubt muscletech wouldn't renew his contract even if he wasn't going to compete in the coming year, he's such a big name. I think he'll announce it's his last show after he's competed as well, but time will tell I've not got anything to base what I'm saying on, just opinion.
EPO all in my veins; Lately things just don’t seem the same; Actin’ funny, but I don’t know why; ’Scuse me while I pass this guy.

Im surprised at this a bit, I would think MT would want to hold on to jay even after he was done competing.
Sad if this is true and he is done. Jay was one of the first pro bbers I came to know once I first got into this sport. It will be weird if he is no longer competing.Six Star Pro Nutrition Lead Rep

uhm...jay's frame at 212 would be beyond funny. he wouldn't be able to hold on to the necessary mass to appear large and thick enough on stage...and he's actually too tall. additionally, his waist would be even more prevalent. i'm sure jay will appear very athletic at what ever weight he stays in shape at, but his genes do not appear to benefit him at such a weight on stage.

Lol yeah right, Jay at 212 would look horrible.
I would think all these years of use his bone size has changed quite a bit. I mean look at his face, forearms and hands. Wonder how he'll look at this lower weight. I remember seeing that recent training video and his head looked huge.
Honestly dont think this will ever happen. Not up the Jay fans, but his personality wouldn't transfer very well into acting imo. Hes a great bodybuilder and spokesman for bodybuilding, but hes no arnold when it comes to being charismatic, etc.
Idk what else his "big plans" could be though, unless he enters the Master's last minute lawl.

I'd like to see Jay go out like Ronnie, and Dennis James, at the big 'O'. People where saying if Ronnie couldn't win the O he should retire.
But he went in got 4th and well it was a good send off. And how good was Dennis James' send off? He got a standing ovation.
That's what Jay should work towards.

can't see Jay Cutler having a big career in movies. The most I can see is a cameo in a movie as a novelty freak@+290 lbs. Cannot even imagine a 230 lb Cutler in a movie impressing an audience esp with his personality. I'm sure his 40's will be exciting and fun for him but mainstream media stardom is not in the picture esp after what gh did to his face. I can see Jay dropping down to a nice lean 230-240 and being like Dorian Yates, stay in shape and travel the world training pros and doing seminars
